• Prepare payment to sub-contractors and suppliers, including invoice upon requested and orders
• Check summary payment, prepare and send monthly SOA with follow-up payments
• Check all invoices against delivery order prior payment
• Prepare monthly payment for GIRO expenses / staff claim /petty cash and enter into accounting systems
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statement
• Assist in handling full set of account for auditing at end of Financial Year
• Day to Day accounting work
• General Admin duties, including handling incoming & outgoing calls, documentation, filing & updating data, billing, collections, payments etc
• Assist HR Dept in Payroll Administration
• Ad-hoc duties assigned

Roles & Responsibilities

• Reconcile monthly bank statements, prepare payment vouchers and issue cheques, verifies all deposits, handles discrepancies and problems.
• Accounts receivables collection from individuals and/or institutions and reconciles customer accounts.
• Accounts payable duties such as verifying all invoices for payment, ensure expenditures are charged to appropriate accounts.
• Update records for fixed assets and all other financial documents as necessary.
• Prepare inter-Company billings, prepare and issue cheques upon authorization.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.

• To help out in monthly accounts closing (if required); Prepare and submit Monthly Profit & Loss account and trend statistics by service.
• Ensure Agents’ disbursements are accurately verified, standard policies and procedures are adhered to by Agents, supporting documents from Agents are received timely.
• Agents' SOA is to be received by 15th of the following month.
• Agent reconciliations are up to date and ensure disputed items are followed up and cleared within 3 months.
• All outstanding with terminated Agents to be cleared within 3 months from date of termination.
• Review all provision of operating costs, Unbilled and Unearned revenue, Bunker stock card to ensure the accuracy and reported monthly.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE ´O¨ Level or Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 1-2 years relevant experience in accounting
• A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• High integrity, meticulous and proactive.
