Requirements:

· Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role

· Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors

· Good organizational and time-management abilities

· BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field would be an advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead in-house database implementation (both in cloud and on-premise).
• Manage small to medium-scale projects and vendors (e.g. AWS and Microsoft).
• Responsible for preparing tender specifications, evaluation and implementation of the outsourced systems.
• Participate in database (DB), database firewall (DB) and data warehouse (DWH) related matters or projects, including but not limited to:

• For Mid-Senior level - at least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in enterprise cloud and on-premise database and data warehouse implementation and administration.
• For Junior level less than 2 years of relevant work experience in enterprise cloud and on-premise database and data warehouse implementation and administration. (recent graduates with the relevant qualifications or certifications are welcomed to apply).
• Well versed in both cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure) and on-premise enterprise database, database firewall, data warehouse technologies, configuration and administration.
• Proficient in database installation, upgrade, maintenance, performance tuning and troubleshooting of MS SQL Server and / or MYSQL.
• Experience in MS SQL Server is strongly preferred.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Perform server administration tasks (for on-premise and cloud infrastructure), including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.

• Monitor servers and application health using pre-existing management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.
