The Role: Product Manager BOBI, Director

The Team:

Business Operations and Strategy within the Market Intelligence Technical Operations with the goal of facilitating financial transparency for Market Intelligence Technology Executives to enable data driven business planning and tracking from execution to delivery.

The team delivers trusted strategic management metrics and reporting across Workforce, Vendor, Financials, and Strategic Projects, as well as KPI reporting using PowerBI. The team is expanding into Synergy Reporting, Cloud Spend, Cloud Migration, and Internal Cost Allocation Reporting.

The Impact:

You will be the Product Manager for the Business Intelligence platform (BOBI). BOBI is a cloud native platform, built on AWS. You will be empowered with a team of technical developers, front-end developers and a product owner.

You will be responsible in ensuring that product work is aligned with organizational priorities. You will be responsible to define product deliverables based on the strategic direction of the MI Technology and TBO organization. You will work closely with internal data providers to identify, consume and govern the datasets.

The userbase is expected to remain relatively stable at 500 users, and is indispensable to the core users/stakeholders, it is imperative that the platform is operationally stable but more importantly is seen as the single source of truth for the MI Tech management team.

In order to ensure that the BOBI platform is meeting the requirements of its stakeholders you will define a steering committee, chair meetings, and initiate demo sessions, user training and feedback calls.

Data management will be expected as part of the role, as we continue building and industrializing our Datawarehouse.

Reporting to CEO, Southeast Asia, Australia & Korea, the key responsibility for this role is to

define and implement brand marketing and communication strategy for the SEA & Australia

markets, working collaboratively with Headquarters and regional stakeholders.

You will build a global Valentino community, engaging and transmitting the Maison’s brand

DNA through clearly defined marcom actions in alignment with brand guidelines and close

collaboration with internal teams including retail, crm, merchandising, visual merchandising

and finance to define marketing priorities and to achieve business goals.

Key accountabilities:

• Ambitious and creative development and implementation of marketing and communication

strategies to elevate and strengthen brand awareness within the SEA & Australia regions

• Deliver strategic plans on calendar for PR, media, marketing and events to enhance the Maison

brand identity, amplify our position and alignment with the arts and culture community, and to

romance, engage and recruit new prospect audience to business

• Drive a digital-first marketing strategy and local 360 action plan to support all product categories

including ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories, soft accessories and bijoux

• Develop and implement innovative brand and product PR strategies and tactics in line with

global branding strategies and communications calendar

• Work in close collaboration with Head of CRM & Clienteling and team to develop third party

partnerships so as to expand brand reach and to communicate effectively to new audience

segments

• Appoints and manages PR agencies to identify opportunities for the brand in market and to

lead with the goal of achieving brand results through all projects and undertakings

• In constant review of all strategies with CEO and functional head of departments at a regional

and global level and to implement plans on time within budget

• Build and maintain excellent relationships with all key regional editors and talents as the brand

ambassador of the Maison

• Responsible for leading the marcom team, elevating their competencies and individual

development to ensure personal and professional growth and success in driving regional

marcom activities

• Manage the annual regional marcom budget

• Sensitive to luxury marketing trends and competitor activities

RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES AND BUSIENSS DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNTABILITY

￭ In charge of sales performance and budget with full P&L responsibility of the channel.

￭ Develop and implement retail strategies, define objectives and action plans to achieve sales targets.

￭ Analyze consumer trends and channels to identify and maximize market opportunities. Provide market insights and recommendations to management to elevate business performance in the region.

RETAIL OPERATIONS AND CROSS-FUNCTION COLLABORATION

￭ Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience, including visual merchandising, store layout, customer service standards, loyalty programs and compliance to ensure company's standards and KPIs are achieved.

￭ Monitor retail performance and launch focused action plans with clearly articulated objectives to improve results.

￭ Regular review workflow and processes to optimize efficiency and drive for operational excellence.

￭ Provide insights and recommendations on product offerings, pricing, and promotions to drive sales and maintain a competitive edge.

￭ Collaborate with Marketing team by providing market insights so to define the most relevant promotional activities to accelerate sales performance and customer experience.

￭ Work with Demand Planner and Supply Chain team to perform effective stock control to maximize sales performance. Oversee sales & inventory analysis, operating cost, develop sales and performance reports for management review and to take appropriate actions.

￭ Work with HR Department to review and fine-tune sales incentive program on regular basis so to drive staff & sales performance and efficiency.

￭ Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and IT to ensure alignment and coordination of activities including but not limited to new shop opening and renovation projects.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT

￭ Lead and coach retail team. Supervise a team of shop management and develop the team by providing guidance & support through timely feedback. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture and environment.

￭ Monitor and analyze the objectives setting to evaluate the performance of shops and identify areas for improvement. Develop action plans to address any performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.

￭ Work with Training Manager to define training needs and develop talents with necessary skills so to drive excellence in customer service & sales performance.

￭ Collaborate with HR department on team development, strength talent pipeline and people development to solidify the team structure and capability.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Business Studies, Fashion, Finance or related discipline.

• Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in retail industry, preferably from luxury F&B retail / fashion brands / cosmetics.

• Strong financial acumen, track record in managing a retail organization.

• Strong leadership skills with exceptional presentation and communication skills.

• Strong analytical, business acumen and interpersonal skills.

• Shop visit and business travel is required.
