Job Title: Area Sales Manager (Mobile Satellite Communications)

Location: Serangoon

Responsibilities:

• Manage pre and post-sales activities, addressing sales inquiries, and generating quotations.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies and product penetration plans to achieve revenue, margin, and market share objectives.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction to foster long-term relationships with key, current, and prospective clients.
• Correspond with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and stay informed about product updates.
• Source for suitable suppliers and represent them in Singapore when required.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to South East Asia, China, Middle East, and Africa for business purposes.
• Represent the company in these regions as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognoised institution in Singapore.
• A minimum of 5 years of regional work experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to sales account management and distributor/agent oversight.

Job Responsibilities

Acting as a project manager, your duties will include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Manage day-to-day project activities including scheduling, coordinating and monitoring of solar projects
• Manage the works progress, provide technical reviews, ensure compliance with relevant codes, practices and applicable standards and specifications
• Generate reports, minutes of meetings, manage necessary correspondences with all parties

Job Requirements

• Develop relationship management strategy to deepen, maintain or exit the relationship

• Perform the KYC for new customer prior to the establishment of a business relationship, conduct periodical review of existing customer while adhering to the bank wide requirements

• Maintain close and continuous contact with customers and target customers while monitoring the industries in which they operate in
• Proactively manage deteriorating credits
• Identify possible cross sell opportunities in order to maximize business returns
• Identify possible cross border business opportunities with Mainland branches and overseas branches for joint collaboration
• Conduct frequent marketing visits with submission of call reports

Requirement

• Recognized bachelor degree and above , preferably in Business,
  Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics or other related
  disciplines
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as relationship manager
• Excellent verbal communication and good interpersonal skills to
  handle stakeholders across multiple departments
