This job aims to address some critical issues in the development of a multi-dimensional photodetector capable of simultaneously capturing optical information such as polarization, wavelength, and optical angular momentum. The main targets are threefold:

1. Understand in depth about the fundamental properties of light including helicity, chirality, polarization, and optical angular momentum. Investigate how these light properties interact with materials and/or structures with different symmetry properties. Research directions include chiral / nonreciprocal / nonlinear optical processes, integrated photonic devices, etc.

2. Study the symmetry properties of 2D materials as well as metasurfaces and nanostructures. The targeted design of a multi-dimensional photodetector should utilize these symmetry properties to enhance the effectiveness, robustness, and responsivity of photodetection of the various optical information, including but not limited to polarization and optical angular momentum.

3. Find the practical schemes to implement a multidimensional photodetector by integrating 2D materials / Tellurides with nanostructures that can allow effective, robust, and simultaneous photodetection of polarization, optical angular momentum, etc. The practical devices should also possess ultrathin nature, the ability to convert multidimensional light information to electrical signals, and the ability to operate at room temperature. At last, one or two prototypical designs should be experimentally demonstrated.

Considering the above research targets, the candidate should possess in-depth physical insights and interdisciplinary knowledge of 2D materials, symmetry analysis, metasurfaces etc. Practical experience in the design, fabrication, optical characterization and measurement of optical devices is preferred.

The Vice President, Design Services (APAC) is responsible for the oversight of all design and construction related activities for new build projects and major CAPEX projects within the region. Department Strategic Development

• Develop and sustain strong vendor/consultant and developer relationships to drive and manage the Company’s design strategy.
• Represent FS Design Services at strategic industry events to develop and strengthen the company’s position as the leader in its segment within the entertainment and hospitality industry.
• Oversee guardianship of FS Brand Standards ensuring adherence by the Company’s business partners and make innovative recommendations as trends change.

• Work directly with SVP, Design Services on special projects as required.
• Lead internal Design and Construction initiatives (i.e., ESG, DIB, etc) as required.

Other Prerequisites – Professional, Educational and Experience

We are looking for a self-motivated candidate with expertise in high performance digital design and system level architecture modeling to join our Heterogeneous System design team. This candidate will work closely with IME’s advanced packing team and contribute to the exploration, optimization and development of multicore & multi-chip system using IME’s heterogeneous integration platform.

Job Description:

· Digital IC Design and system-level exploration:

o Lead and contribute to the design and development of digital integrated circuits, ensuring they meet performance and functionality requirements.

o <!-Emphasize a system-level perspective in the design process, considering overall system architecture and functionality.

o Apply a deep understanding of cryogenic temperature effects on digital ICs and implement design strategies for optimal performance in low-temperature environments.

o Incorporate Edge AI principles into digital IC designs, enabling efficient and intelligent processing at the edge of the network.

o RTL implementation for custom circuit design using Verilog/SystemVerilog

o Derive specs and implement necessary customized and highly efficient building blocks such as systolic array, data path controller, scheduler, integer and floating-point processing engine, FFT, etc which are frequency used in various computing architecture such as in-memory computing, deep learning and neuromorphic computing.

· Simulation, Verification, and Implementation:

o Conduct thorough simulation and verification of digital designs to validate functionality and performance.

o Utilize FPGA in digital IC designs, leveraging its flexibility and reconfigurability for system emulation and architecture exploration

o Perform timing analysis and collaborate with the team to optimize designs for timing closure.

o Contribute to power analysis activities and implement power-efficient design techniques.

Publish research works in prestigious conferences and Journals such as ISSCC, VLSI Symp, A-SSCC, DAC, JSSC and TCAS-I/II.

· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to seamlessly integrate digital ICs into the overall system architecture.

· Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports.
