OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE  

The Infopro Digital Business Development Manager position is a team-oriented, quota carrying role that will focus on revenue generation for the Global Financial Market brands, specifically selling our Risk.Net, FX Markets and Waters Technology products to clients globally. This   role will sell enterprise access to our subscriptions and memberships to new clients, whilst working alongside the Account Management team to ensure clients buy our full suite of products.   The Business Development Manager will work with an entrepreneurial mindset that demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and a sense of urgency.  

You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop strategic initiatives that support the company’s objectives in the financial services industry. • Staying up to date with digital media trends, competition, and potential new channels, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, targeting, and programmatic media buying. 

• Supporting the implementation of transversal projects of DCO, data-sharing and cookie less targeting, to generate incremental revenue. 

• Identifying and adapting a streamlined campaign reporting template for MEA APAC. 

• Project management: ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a challenging environment. 

• Successfully complete training programs as required and identify new training/upskilling opportunities to align with the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Media Director in ensuring that we deliver high client satisfaction scores (which means we constantly have a pulse on the relationship)
• Lead on day to day running of the account with clients & agency partners
• Drive relationships at the appropriate levels of our client organizations
• Apt knowledge & understanding of digital channels combined with the ability to understand digital infrastructure including tracking, web analytics, trafficking
• Have prior platform experience in managing Social, Search and/or Programmatic campaigns (ideally with offline medium experiences), including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management
• Creates strategies and makes in-depth recommendations based on strong grasp of analytics, marketing & research concepts
• Manages the daily work flow of all client campaigns, and working with various internal and external stakeholders, including creative agencies and media owners to deliver campaign objectives
• Able to organise & delegate, sensitive to needs & problems of reporting staff – works across buying & planning issues
• Be aware of opportunities to drive revenue streams from existing relationships and leveraging cases from existing relationships to create new relationships
• Assist in mentoring and developing team members skillset and wellbeing within the structure, also help to develop growth plan for the reporting team.
• Lead Local Market Management/Coordination (Global and Regional Requests)
• Lead Global/Regional Governance Reports and Digital Guidelines compliances
• Support Quarterly Business/Competitive Review Development

• Negotiate, manage, coordinate, and support Logistics sourcing activities for all modes of Freight (Air, Ocean, Trucking & Parcel) including warehousing and brokerage preparing RFx, managing the process and analyzing competitive bids using eSourcing tool.
• Analyze spend data, internal requirements, and external supply markets to develop strategic sourcing strategies and plans aligned with the business goals.
• Prepare, redline and negotiate commercial contracts - services agreements, licenses, statements of work and amendments in conjunciton with legal team
• Develop strong collaborative relationships with internal clients to strategically manage spend and the supply base for assigned categories.
• Develop strong partnerships with Logistics operations, accounts payable, and legal teams.
• Manage, co-ordinate and support special/critical projects such as ad hoc and spot rate approval process and others as needed.
• The commodity manager will need to provide excellent strategic sourcing support to the reporting manager and business partners to ensure a competitive advantage for Western Digital.
• Will drive improvements in key metrics such as cost, quality and transit time.
• The CM will drive process-improvements, assist with projects and provide feedback to management on market conditions, supplier relationships, and quality and customer service issues.
• Ensure timely and cost effective acquisition of products, services and equipment while driving contract compliance.
• Completing day-to-day activities that include specification clarification, source/supplier identification, proposal analysis, review & clarification, contract knowledge, supplier performance management, supplier/customer conflict resolution.
• Provide feedback to management on market conditions, vendor relationships, supply and equipment standardization, quality issues.
• Assist with projects and perform other related duties that may become necessary as directed by management.
