Job Description:

• Understand customer requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
• Support the Sales team in developing, marketing, solutioning, and deploying smart IoT solutions, integrating both software and hardware components for trials.
• Assist customers throughout the development cycle, from design specification to final acceptance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless handover to the project team for system installation, commissioning, and configuration.
• Monitor presales progress, identify potential challenges, and implement solutions to ensure project success.
• Coordinate and communicate with software developers, hardware engineers, and site operations to align efforts.
• Conduct site monitoring to verify that systems perform optimally and meet project specifications.
• Assist with IT system configurations, including networking and communication protocols.
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting during and after deployment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the deployment process.

Job Requirements:

• Training will be provided for candidates who possess relevant certifications (eg: electronics) but lack work experience
• 2+ years of experience in a Presales Technical role or similar position have the advantage
• Knowledge in BMS & ELV Systems e.g. PA system, Fire Alarm System, CCTV system, Card Access, Structure Cabling & etc
• Knowledge of both software project lifecycle and DevOps practices
• Experience with a mix of software and hardware deployments
• Familiarity with IT systems, including networking and system monitoring
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple presales activities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Experience in Video Manager software in comp's products: CCTV
• Able work independently and also with other both indoor and outdoor locations
• Co-ordinate and work closely with the external parties and customers to plan, organize and execute the project related activities.
• Assist the manager in engineering works such as system designing, documentation, testing & commissioning (T&C) for BMS systems
• Experience in IoT, smart building systems, or ELV (extra-low voltage) technology
• Familiarity with site operations, safety protocols, and field troubleshooting
• Experience in project monitoring tools and automation is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Supporting and maintaining the office network systems (Microsoft, Lotus Notes, Firewall, Leased / ADSL lines, Web Portal etc)
• Administer Active Directory O365, Hyper-V & VMWare(Windows), Network Servers inclusive of installing Operating Systems & Software, IT Security & Compliance
• Handling & managing Active Directory Server & MS Azure/EMS
• Handling of Infrastructure (Firewall), Servers backup & Recovery.
• Servicing of users requests and providing support for all in-house software & requirements.
• Involve in troubleshooting and resolving of servers & desktops problems.
• Carrying out the upgrading of the office systems (network, servers, desktops & related equipment / software).
• Maintain proper records of all equipment, software, incidents, activities and services provided
• Assisting in the disposing of obsolete, defective or non-serviceable equipment.
• As and when required, will provide briefing to the users on the usage of the office systems (standard applications, office network and related processes).

Requirements:

• Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Possess 1 year experience as MIS Executive or System Administrator related role.
• Possess knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (server & client), AD Server, Office 365 Administration, MS Azure / EMS Implementation, Hyper-V, Lotus Notes / Domino, Backup Application (such as Arcserve, Acronis, Symantec Backup Exec, etc) and other software applications.
