Job Description:

• Create detailed drawings and designs, technical specifications, and plans.
• Conduct research and development activities to enhance the performance, efficiency, and safety of fire suppression products.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials for construction of cylinders, ensuring compatibility with fire suppression agents and compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee the prototyping and testing process, conducting performance evaluations and making necessary adjustments to meet quality and safety standards.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, UL and FM Global) and ensure products meet all necessary certifications and approvals.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Production and Sales, to ensure seamless product development and production processes.
• Analyze production costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement cost-effective design solutions without compromising safety or quality.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues related to product design, production, or performance.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the Fire Suppression Industry or a related field.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Strong understanding of materials science and selection, particularly those suitable for high-pressure applications and fire-resistant environments.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, UL and FM Global) governing fire suppression systems and components.
• Experience with design validation, prototyping, and testing procedures, including knowledge of testing standards.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations, stress analysis, and simulations to validate design integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address engineering challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support High Power Computing and ITSM
• The System engineer is responsible in specializing in High-Performance Computing (HPC), you will be a key contributor to the design, implementation, and optimization of complex computational systems. Leveraging your expertise in HPC technologies, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and performance of high-performance computing environments.

System Design and Implementation:

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance computing systems to meet the organization's computational needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand performance requirements and hardware specifications.

Parallel Computing:

• Implement and optimize parallel computing techniques to enhance system performance.
• Leverage parallel programming languages and frameworks for efficient task execution.

Cluster Management:

• Manage and optimize HPC clusters, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain cluster management tools for efficient resource utilization.

Performance Tuning:

• Analyze and fine-tune system configurations, hardware, and software for optimal performance.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in HPC applications.

Job Scheduling:

• Utilize job scheduling systems to allocate computational resources and manage workloads efficiently.
• Collaborate with users to understand job requirements and prioritize computing tasks.

Networking and Interconnects:

• Configure and optimize high-speed interconnects, such as InfiniBand, for fast data transfer between nodes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on High-Performance Computing.
• Knowledge of HPC architectures, technologies, and parallel programming languages.

Technical Proficiency:

• Familiarity with cluster management tools, job scheduling systems, and distributed file systems.
• Experience with high-speed interconnects (e.g., InfiniBand) and networking in HPC environments.

Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex HPC challenges.

Communication:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.

Review project plans and proposals, and work with management to develop project objectives

Oversee, coordinate, and perform technical aspects of project, with guidance, based on type of project manager support required (e.g., engineer, quality, scheduler)

Review, evaluate, approve, and monitor cost schedule and technical scope baselines

Ensure the preparation of required project documentation

Contribute to communication plan and change management elements

Determine long lead items for pre-order requirements

Schedule and coordinate activities and resources needed for efficient execution of work

Promptly notify the Client PM when priorities, resource conflicts, and/or long lead items prevent meeting the deadline for completion of planned work so that appropriate action can be taken to adjust project schedules

Request assistance from management when conflicts arise concerning resource allocation to work load requirements

Prepare project status reports, and provide data to others for reporting as needed

Job Description:

• Involved in system design, interface design and writing design documents
• Liaise with customer, vendors, project team members and interfacing contractors during the course of project implementation to ensure project delivery milestones are on schedule
• Participate and perform factory acceptance testing and site testing
• Participate in design and Interface meetings with customers and interfacing parties
• Capable of performing troubleshooting independently

Job Requirement:

• At least a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related discipline
• With at least 1-2 years of project environment experience in PLC/SCADA or Industrial Control Systems
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, plans, drawing etc.
• Able to work under pressure, multitask and perform coordination work with various stakeholders
• Good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and also a team player
