Summary / Objective

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting assigned premises, assets and personnel. He/She is expected to detect and deter potential threats. His duties include conducting security screening, doing escort works, attending to enquiries from customers, patrolling and guarding premises, as well as managing incidents and emergencies.

He may be required to work in rotating shifts and must be physically fit. He is expected to be vigilant, decisive, resilient, and possess effective communication skills. He has to be well-groomed and pleasant.

Job Description:

· To assist Safety Manager on all safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters, to ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations and safety requirements.

· To ensure the implementation and monitoring of appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.

· To assist Safety Manager in liaising and co-ordinate with stakeholders, and other Consultants employed by Developer.

· To attend Main contractor’s daily toolbox briefings, conduct regular site safety inspections, and prepare report of observation and follow up on the rectification.

· To highlight areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, or H.S.E. guidance.

· To familiarize with the risks and control measures related to each work activity.

· To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.

Requirement:

· At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction industry preferably 3 years with developer/main contractor

· Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 5 years

· Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent

· Good communication skills and team player

· Must be able to clear any internal security checks conducted by the Singapore Government

· Class 3 Qualified Driving License

Job Description

• To be responsible for health, safety, and environmental control, and to assist Safety Manager to ensure that all works adhere to the procedures and instructions.
• To assist Safety Manager in liaising and co-ordinate with stakeholders, authorities and agencies and other Consultants employed by Developer.
• To put up daily situation reports.
• Ensure risk assessment and safe working procedures are correctly executed on-site.
• To conduct daily health, safety, and environmental inspections, prepare reports and follow up with Project Safety Team / Contractors for closure.
• To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.
• Wear appropriate personal protective clothing/equipment and observe all safety requirements/procedures.
• To implement and monitor appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Safety Management System.
• To highlight areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, or H.S.E. guidance

Job Requirement:

• At least 03 years of condominium Project relevant experience in the construction industry preferably 2 years with the developer/main contractor.
• Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM.
• Must be a registered Environmental control officer with NEA
• Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent
• ECMO

• Develop and maintain top-tier compliance programs, policies, and practices.
• Clearly communicate compliance strategy and goals across clients, products, and regions, providing guidance and expertise.
• Oversee and guide the resolution of complex compliance issues with stakeholders.
• Identify and assess key compliance risks, ensuring they are managed according to the bank’s risk framework.
• Monitor adherence to compliance policies and measure risk through a robust control framework, ensuring effective operation of controls.
• Conduct complex data analyses and prepare regional and global compliance risk reports.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and internal policy updates to identify new risk areas.
