Job Summary:

Lead the Information Technology team to ensure efficient, secure, and legally compliant IT systems and support across the hotel, in alignment with COMO Hotels and Resorts' policies.

Tasks/ Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning & Implementation: Plan, implement, and manage the hotel’s IT systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure alignment with overall hotel objectives and COMO’s standards.
• Stakeholder Liaison & Systems Enhancement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their IT needs, evaluate existing systems, recommend enhancements, and provide regular progress reports.
• Security & Compliance:Perform regular testing, updating, and application of security patches. Ensure all IT operations comply with legal requirements and internal policies, including maintaining a robust disaster recovery plan.
• Project Management: Lead IT projects to address client department needs, including the creation of detailed project schedules and timelines.
• Technology Updates: Stay updated on the latest IT developments in both hardware and software. Attend user group meetings and report on emerging issues or opportunities.
• Policy & Procedure Management:Ensure IT system policies and procedures are current and comprehensive, with regular reviews and updates, especially regarding health and safety regulations.
• Communication: Communicate IT-related issues, changes, and updates to end-users via appropriate channels, including team meetings.
• User Documentation: Develop, maintain, and update user manuals for all hardware and software systems.
• Supplier & Contract Management:Collaborate with the Purchasing team to oversee supplier contracts, ensuring optimal service delivery.
• Team Training & Development:Provide ongoing training for IT team members and establish a realistic training schedule. Manage team performance through regular appraisals.
• Database Administration:Oversee the administration of multi-user databases, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Budget Management: Manage the IT department’s capital and revenue budgets in close collaboration with the Financial Controller.
• Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews of team members, fostering continuous improvement and development.
• Strategy Development: Lead the development, implementation, and review of IT systems and strategies in consultation with Department Heads/Directors.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure IT department operations align with COMO Hotels and Resorts' product specifications and Leading Quality Assurance standards.
• Systems Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all hotel systems to ensure their optimal utilization.

• Minimum 10 years experience in Project Managment and Certified Project Management Professional from PMI.
• Accountable for the full project lifecycle: develop scopes of work and associated project plans and own the day-to-day operations to ensure that projects remain on track and within budget.
• Lead internal and external status meetings: clearly capture notes, assign action items to team members, and own all necessary follow-up.
• Relay clear and specific expectations, timelines, priorities, challenges, and new developments in detail to key internal and external team members/parties.
• Own daily project plan components, including task estimation, resource allocations,and new work requests.
• Coordinate internal reviews and implementation-related quality assurance efforts.

· Carry out maintenance function to the highest standard expect for the client and the subsidiary proprietor

· Review all contract, agreement and insurance before their expiry and recommend renewal or call for quotation/tender.

•Reviewing and analysing sales, inventory, and other performance data to

measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement

•Creating and improving standard operating procedures for service and product preparation

•Ensuring compliance with licensing laws pertaining to the service of food and beverage, public / employee safety and food safety

•Supervise the effective control of food & beverages, labour cost and budget to

ensure effective operational

•Managing manpower schedules, staff development and comply with service standards and SOP

• Working closely with the Marketing department on sales and promotions

• Work closely with R&D chefs for new product development

• Conduct investigation and perform trouble shooting to resolve quality issues

•Suggest and recommend improvements to the running of the restaurant

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of our logistics program, bridging various business units and identifying business opportunities.
• Regularly engage with customers through weekly scorecard reviews, monthly safety and continuous improvement (CIP) meetings, KPI evaluations, and strategic business reviews.
• Lead and/or participate in CIPs and ad hoc projects focused on workplace safety, automation, process optimization, quality enhancements, productivity improvements, and data-driven initiatives.
• Oversee short- and long-term projects (6 months to 10 years), ensuring successful planning and execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer engagements and project-related discussions.
• Lead staff training and career development initiatives.
• Simultaneously manage multiple CIPs and projects, maintaining timelines and delivering on objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management).
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a contract logistics leadership role.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Ability to clearly communicate operational concepts to non-operational audiences.
• Strong customer service orientation with diplomacy and tact.
• Skilled in budgeting and resource management.
• Proficiency in project management, with a track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including data analytics and visualization.
