The primary role of the Assistant HR Manager, Talent Management is to provide support to the HR Manager, Talent Management, and any other persons or companies assigned, in a professional and timely manner. This individual possesses communication, friendly, approachable, people management skill, good team player, meticulous and detail oriented.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and provide effective solutions
- Source potential candidates through various recruitment channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and referral programs, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates
- Review applications and screen candidates via calls or emails, as well as facilitate pre-interview assessments
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate candidates and provide feedback on their suitability for the positions
- Negotiate offers with candidates, manage offer acceptance process, and coordinate with HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to optimize the recruitment process
- Share knowledge of business, candidate marketplace and recruitment trends with stakeholders
- Participate in talent acquisition related activities such as designing and driving recruitment campaigns, drive management of talent application system, and use of HR metrics to bring about transparency in hiring status and success metrics
- Track and analyze HR metrics, such as turnover rates, time-to-fill, and employee satisfaction and prepare regular reports on recruitment activities, employee engagement, and other HR-related areas when required. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
- Conduct learning needs analyses to identify performance gaps and recommend appropriate learning interventions
- Support and involve in the day-to-day Learning & Development (L&D) activities and duties which will include planning, coordination, facilitation and execution of training program, and continuously improve L&D processes and practices
- Engage and collaborate with government agencies and training institutions for grants or assistance to support our training needs
- Support in designing and implementing Talent Development programmes to enhance employee skills and performance
- Assist in compiling data from performance review and identify development needs of employees to devise career planning
- Develop programmes for Internship and Management Trainee
- Initiate and conduct meaningful Employee Engagement and Communications including HR dialogues and other initiatives
- Participate and support ongoing Employee Welfare activities and Company events
- Develop and implement employee engagement and staff well-being programmes and initiatives to foster an inclusive and caring culture, and to enhance mental well-being of staff
Job Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree/ Professional Certification in Human Resource and/or related field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in a Talent Management and/or Talent Acquisition role
- 1 to 2 years of experience in managing a team preferred
- Has experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation method
- Prior experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Possess a positive attitude to learn and grow with the Company
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
