• Drive or implement HR related projects or programs to enhance organizational effectiveness. These may include, but are not limited to: HR systems, payroll, talent and compensation & benefits platforms.

• Manage formal performance management initiatives for assigned customer organization.

• Conduct employee relations and investigations that produce corrective action recommendations to managers that meet the following standards: based on objective criteria and facts, designed to achieve desired performance / conduct, consistently administered, and legally defensible.

• Counsels and/or trains employees and management concerning the interpretation and application of HR policies and programs and any related legal implications.

• Coach leaders and employees for superior performance and employee engagement

• Ensure client groups are fully resourced to budget levels with high caliber staff at all locations capable of meeting current and anticipated business challenges.

• Provide prompt and accurate HR reports.      

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Mostly office environment with very minimal travel. Occasionally need to have night calls.

EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

• Five to eight years experience in human resources as an HR Manager or Generalist. Must have working appreciation of all fields within HR.

• HR strategy implementation with client groups solving business needs.

• Must have worked effectively with client groups solving business problems in a fast paced and matrixed environment.

• Must have experience with a highly professional workforce.

EDUCATION:

Essential:

• Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a Corporate HR Team and Admin Team to manage the full cycle of HR function across the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition to employee exit, ensuring all HR activities are strategically planned, budgeted, and effectively executed within the corporate office.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to the Talent Acquisition team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Supervise the Corporate Talent Acquisition (TA) team and collaborate with business units on manpower needs to ensure timely resource deployment for business operations.
• Act as an advisor to senior leaders and managers on compliance and regulatory matters, including handling employee grievances and employee relation matters.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as an HR generalist/partner role preferably in F&B/retail or service industry
• Degree in Human Resource Management, IHRP Certified Professional preferred
• Effective leadership skills to manage several projects simultaneously and ensure the team meet deadlines including global initiatives
• Good knowledge of Employment Act and Industrial Relations
• High adaptability, good interpersonal and written communication skills
