PURPOSE:

The Legal Counsel is to provide assigned business units with legal advice, to provide legal support to business activities and any strategic and operational matters and issues. This will include but not be limited to providing legal advice, legal support and contract review in respect of all contractual transactions (including but not limited to regional tenders, bids and all contract management related matters. The Legal Counsel shall be part of the Asia Pacific Legal Team and shall provide legal advice and support on any projects and tasks assigned by the General Counsel (General Manager Legal) or designated team leader / supervisor. RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

2. To review/draft contracts pertaining to the business including but not limited to supplier contracts, customer contracts, inter-company contracts as well as regional tenders, bids, international sales/service transactions as well contracts with a global / multi-jurisdictional perspective.
3. To negotiate with external parties (including but not limited to suppliers and customers of the Company) on legal issues and work to resolve any legal related matters arising between the Company and such external parties, suppliers or customers.
4. To provide legal advice. legal support and work with the Company’s internal customers and stakeholders (internal functions) including but not limited to the sales/marketing department and all corporate support functions.
5. To coordinate and co-operate with all related organizations including FB Asia Pacific affiliates, FB Japan, FF Japan, FUJIFILM Holdings and the overall FUJIFILM Group to work on contracts, legal matters and any other matters so assigned by the General Counsel.
6. To raise and highlight all and any material legal issues to the supervisor / reporting manager / General Counsel and/or senior management whenever necessary.
7. To provide legal support, guidance and work with the Company’s affiliates and any member of the overall FUJIFILM Group whenever so instructed, assigned and/or tasked to do so by the General Counsel.
8. To take on any projects or tasks deemed appropriate and assigned by General Counsel. THE ROLE

Working as a Legal Counsel advising the Company on legal matters relating to the Company’s business operations and ensuring the Company’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in food science or Life Sciences, such as Biotechnology.
• Previous work or internship experience with laboratory work is preferable.
• Experience and preference for hands-on experimental work in a laboratory.
• Experience with microbiological and aseptic techniques. Experience with fermentation and bioreactors is advantageous.
• Experience with analytical techniques such as biochemical assays, spectroscopy and chromatography. Experience with PCR techniques is advantageous.
• Experience with software tools such as MS Office, Teams, MatLab, MiniTab, and various proprietary scientific soft wares such as for biotechnological and analytical equipment.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Execute the day-to-day administrative work processes for the successful delivery of centralized customer- centric services to SIMGE learners.

1. Student Services: Execute the day-to-day work processes for the smooth delivery of services to SIM GE learners.
2. Performance Management: Carry out the services provided by Student Services team to achieve departmental outcome.
3. Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Provide inputs or suggestions to improvements on systems and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Student Services department.
4. Quality Control: Execute work processes to ensure that SIM GE student interactions are responded to in accordance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma holders
• At least 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience in a customer-focused environment, preferably in an education setting
• Understanding of frontline customer/call centre operations, with knowledge of customer service and enquiry-handling processes
• Bilingual with good command of spoken and written English

1-Familiar with MOM website for WPOL and EPOL application/issuance/cancellation of WP/EP

2- Ensure legal compliance in all human resource regulations

3- Process Monthly Employee Payroll

4- Prepare letters of employment, confirmation, other HR-related documents etc;

5- Manage staff / workers attendance records and leave balances.

6- Administer training-related matters including coordination or enrolment of the course, update & maintain training records, etc.

7- Coordinate with the director on hiring plans, resignations, confirmation, and all HR-related matters.

8- Monitor company insurance, vehicle insurance, medical insurance, workmen compensation and etc. 9- Responsible office administration such as pantry supplies, staff/ workers uniforms, stationery, office equipment and etc.

10- Liaise with company Account, auditor and relevant authorities for company related matters;

11- Keep properly all the necessary documents for audit.

12- Prepare Invoice for construction contracts,etc.

13- Prepare necessary documents for new jobsite.

14 Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
