• Understand the project scope of works and project requirements and prepare list of data collection needed, project queries, responses to Client comments and site RFIs.
• Attend project meetings with Project Teams, Subconsultants and the Client.
• Project Coordination with the Project teams handling the urban design/planning, utilities and infrastructure works.
• Prepare Presentations to the Client and Stakeholders.
• Ensure project compliance with local and international codes and standards, government regulations as well as the Client requirements.
• Support business development and commercial managers team in analysing RFPs, preparing techno-commercial bids, presentations, and negotiations for urban infrastructure projects.
• Coach, train, and mentor junior engineers.

About you:

• Master’s Degree or higher in Environmental Engineering / Civil Engineering or the equivalent.
• At least 9 years of relevant experience in Hydrology, Hydraulic and Storm Water Drainage (offsite drainage, urban drainage, road drainage, etc.)
• Robust knowledge of the sustainability and environmental practices worldwide.
• Strong knowledge in using Microsoft Office applications, Hydrology & Hydraulic design software (SewerGEMS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks ICM, SWMM or similar software), AutoCAD, Civil 3D etc.
• Familiar with Programming (MATLAB and VBA) and different applications of stormwater drainage, coastal and flood protection, environmental and sustainability management.
• Technical report writing, preparing and delivering presentations.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Leadership in design meetings, site meetings and all other project related meetings.
• Ability to lead a highly effective cross-functional team and build working relationships at all levels of the organisation.

Purpose and Scope

• Responsible for the daily deployment of drivers and crews
• Assist with daily planning of days and nights routes and CRM bin deliveries
• Conduct site visits and attend complaints from public and clients
• Carry out accident investigation, accident reporting and any other related issues
• Conduct Toolbox Briefing
• Checking of vehicles and ensure all are in proper working condition before deployment
• Monitoring of crews’ discipline and attendance

Qualification, Skills and Experience

About the role:

• Responsible for studying the project requirements, and specifications and following document submissions such as Method statements as required
• Attend periodical meetings with clients to discuss the engineering clarification and engineering status: Technical Query (TQR) Piping Insulation Document & Drawing Status (isometric drawings, P&ID’s, Piping GA’s, etc.) FIM & DM supply piping material status Engineering Clarification / Proposal
• Responsible for the master material take-off (MTO), procurement of insulation materials, and expediting materials to be delivered on time
• In charge of the master status of Engineering, Procurement, and construction status
• Coordinate with fabricator and project team for the execution of insulation work
• Prepare necessary document for additional claim/instruction to sub-contractor (JCS/JCR/Site Instruction/Timesheet “A” and “AA”).
• Follow instructions and advice from Piping HOD & Engineering Manager for resolving the engineering matters
• Study and understand project spec, scope of work, and scope of supply
• Ensure that subordinates are trained and knowledgeable of specifications and work procedures, to ensure optimum efficiency, and work is being performed in conformance with specified quality requirements
• Establish the sequence of priority system for piping completion with related sections, ensure work and materials are planned to follow the same sequence
• Supervise fabrication and installation of piping items as per drawings and client's specifications
• Organize and control shop fabrication activities

About you:

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience in marine/shipyard operations involving site piping fabrication and supervision works
• Highly motivated individuals with good organizational skills and leadership skills
• Able to adapt to new work environments and able to lead independently

• Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e. Microsoft Excel)
