Job Title: Corporate Relationship Manager (Business Development, FI & Investments)
Responsibilities
Business Development
· Responsible for achievement of the business targets assigned to the profile.
· Acquiring and onboarding at least five good quality FPI/FII customers.
· Corporate remittances and cross currency remittances- target for remittances in excess of USD 20 mio from onboarded customers.
· Securing corporate deposits.
· Understanding the ecosystem of FRI/FDI, RBI/SEBI guidelines, Government of India FDI/FPI policies, taxation of PE/FPI investments to effectively communicate and garner business requirements/leads from potential FPI/FII for SBI group.
· Be single point of contact for FPI/FII customers for their business requirements.
Operational Efficiency and compliance
· Onboarding and review of RMAs with banks by performing necessary due diligence as per bank’s policies and procedures.
· Assist in collating data in relation to Investment proposal and portfolio analysis.
· Knowledge of internal policies and procedures to effectively manage the sales cycle and facilitate operational execution of transactions.
· Sound knowledge of various types of business entities and their shareholding structures.
· Competent on all KYC/CDD procedures, AML guidelines and all other regulatory guidelines governing the Sales & Advisory process.
Customer Experience and Service Delivery
· Maintain good rapport and relations with all customers- FI and FIIs.
· Take ownership and respond to all customer issues and navigate internally to address issues promptly and/or escalate to relevant authorities promptly.
· To act as a single point of contact for all customers under handling.
· Maintaining relationships on a continuous basis with business federations.
Organizational and Human Resource Management Skills
· Maintain close relations with other BUs / SBI group for generating synergy leads to & from them.
· Function as a Team Member and maintain a positive work environment.
· Co-ordinate with other user departments for efficient and timely delivery of service and completion of transactions.
· Provide necessary support in conduct of activities in relation to BD, FI & Investment department.
Requirements
· Prefer candidates with Degree in Finance or equivalent.
· Banking experience in Institutional Sales/Marketing is preferred.
· Fresh graduates with the right attitude and willingness to learn, may be considered.
· Thorough knowledge of banking products on deposit, loan, trade, forex and investments.
· Prefer experience in marketing of new business relating to Credit, Trade Finance, Remittances, and Deposits etc. from corporate clients.
· Ability to pursue leads and potential customers to expand services and products offered.
· Good interpersonal, negotiation, team working and networking skills in a sales related environment.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work fast and smart independently.
· Excellent communication, analytical, organizational and time management skills.
