Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying and drafting or equivalent. (interior fit out works and construction of landed houses experience an advantage)
2. Preferably with at least 2 Years of working local experience.
3. Knowledge of MS, sketch up, autocad, 3D and related drawing software.
4. Able to work under pressure with high initiative and tight deadlines.
5. Good Team player.
6. Driving licence an advantage.

Get to know the Role:

• Assist the Tender Manager in preparing tender and contract documents
  • Interact with the architect and/or the client
  • Understand bid/tender documents/drawings/specifications
  • Quantity taking-off and put together bill of quantities
  • Undertaking cost analysis for construction works
• Subcontractors sourcing, negotiation and quotation confirmation including contract drafting and confirmation
• Communication with project manager and site team for works that require subcontractors or specialized workers.
• Communication with site team for preparation of clarifications, work valuation and certification
• Submission of progress claims and tax invoices to clients and consultants
• Certification of subcontractors claims and arrangement of payments
• Keep track of budget and report for planning

The Must-haves:

• Diploma / BSc degree holder in Building Science or Quantity Surveying from a recognized university
• Proficient knowledge in building and construction works with detailed knowledge for building processes
• Min 3-5 years experience in quantity surveying, contractual drafting
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Good planning and time management skills
• A dynamic, positive and forward-thinking personality with the ability to work under time pressure

The Nice-to-haves:

• Use of QS software, AutoCad, BIM, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Manage progress claims, variation orders, final accounts, and settlements.

- Measure and take off quantities, negotiate, and liaise with contractors and suppliers.

- Provide cost estimates and evaluations to ensure competitive pricing for tender submissions.

- Source and coordinate with site personnel, suppliers, contractors, consultants, and architects on project-related matters.

- Ensure timely finalization of contracts.

- Perform any other duties necessary to complete the projects.

Job Requirements:

- Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

- At least 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore.

- Proven expertise in contract negotiation, administration, and handling variation orders.

- Able to work independently, detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines. A good team player.
