The project aims to map floods, land subsidence, volcano monitoring, tectonic deformation, coastal change and earthquake studies, and to provide timely information to regional decision makers and disaster responders across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Works as a software engineer on the project
• Help with software development of new features and mission control of a near-real-time, partially automated system that will use remote sensing data for monitoring of hazards and mapping of disasters
• Development of additional features in our web-based interface according to user requirements
• Coordination with scientists at the Earth Observatory of Singapore to integrate post-processing algorithms for SAR data into the disaster response system
• Troubleshoot issues raised and develop fixes to ensure our system is always ready for response

Job Requirements:
