Roles and Responsibilities

1. Assist the nursing team in providing personalised, specialised and cost-effective care.

At this branch we have a good first opinion caseloads and general health checks which is the best place to build up good rapport with clients. At the Balestier branch, despite having a higher caseload for first opinion patients, we do occasionally get referral cases. At this branch we have a good first opinion caseloads and general health checks which is the best place to build up good rapport with clients. At the Balestier branch, despite having a higher caseload for first opinion patients, we do occasionally get referral cases. Also, we see a variety of species which can range from dogs and cats to small furries and birds as well. On a monthly basis, we do organize clinical rounds to benefit both vets and nurses to continue brushing up our knowledge and to grow as a clinic to provide high standards of care.

The Senior Research Assistant will be working on projects which are at the intersection of artificial intelligence and architecture, the successful candidate will work with researchers from other domains to implement deep learning modules with spatial and geometrics datasets across the design scales of products, buildings and cities.

Job Description:

• Conduct home visits and nursing assessment

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the total nursing care for an assigned group of patients, as well as perform a wide variety of nursing procedures and patient education that meet patients’ needs. Job Requirements:

The Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) was formed in 2016 to be the central coordinating platform for translational research and multi-centre clinical trials for thoracic malignancies in the Asia Pacific region. It is hosted by National Cancer Centre Singapore.

The Executive will provide administrative support mainly for the ATORG team and the Principal Investigator (PI) in other aspects outside of ATORG. This role provides opportunities to interact internationally with healthcare institutions, industry partners and vendors, apart from internal functions.

Key Accountabilities:

• Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support including managing PI’s schedules, reimbursements, handling correspondence, minutes taking and organizing meetings with internal team and external committee meetings with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) of ATORG’s network in APAC.
• Travel Arrangements: Organize and coordinate travel plans, accommodations, and itineraries for PI and KOLs.
• Office Management: Oversee office supplies inventory, ensuring availability and placing orders when necessary
• Communication: Act as the point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring messages are relayed efficiently.
• Assistance with research administration, which may include grant management (application, tracking of progress, reporting), purchase requisitions, consultancy agreements and documentation for scientific activities

The Associate Clinical Research Coordinator (ACRC) shall assist all levels of Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs and above), in coordinating clinical research.

The ACRC has to ensure that trial- related work is conducted and recorded in accordance with the protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines, all applicable regulatory requirements and the Clinical Trials Office Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as instructions from her superiors.

You will support and assist in the following trial related activities:

• Take over trials that have completed treatment phase or trials that involve few simple procedures.
• Data collection and management including resolving data discrepancies, tracking of trial expenditures and timely invoicing (where applicable), etc.
• Administering quality of life questionnaires or any other surveys as and when required.
• Performing trial procedures which include taking and recording patients’vital signs performing ECGs; collecting data; other trial-related procedures.
• Collection and delivery of biological specimens eg blood, urine and tissues whenever necessary.
• Inventory of study materials such as laboratory kits, patient diaries and case report forms to ensure adequate supplies are maintained to conduct the trials.
• Collection of medical records or duplicate radio-diagnostic films and ensuring that the items are collected in accordance with specific request forms.
• Managing the Clinical Trials Office’s Medical Records Trolley and the transportation of medical notes in the Trolley between Medical Records Office and the Clinical Trials Office. The ACRC shall also assist other CTO staff to obtain medical notes and other source documents.

Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) is the coordinating platform for translational research for thoracic malignancies in Asia. Its mission is to advance medical knowledge of lung cancer and improve health outcomes of patients through clinical studies and scientific events.

Asia Pacific Oncology Drug Development Consortium (APODDC) was formed to foster education and collaboration between key stakeholders of cancer drug development within the Asia Pacific region, thereby improving treatment access to patients. APODDC drives regional activities in collaboration with institutions in the region and industry partners.

ATORG and APODDC operate centrally under the Clinical Trials and Epidemiological Sciences (CTE) division in National Cancer Centre Singapore.

The Senior / Executive will mainly organise events for ATORG and APODDC . The types of events include, but are not limited to, virtual, hybrid and in-person advisory board meetings, educational seminars and workshops. This role provides opportunities to interact internationally with healthcare institutions, industry partners and vendors, and manage key stakeholders at a regional level.

Main Responsibilities:

Organise events (60%)

• Responsible for managing events from startup to execution
• Communicate effectively and manage internal and external stakeholders and service providers
• Plan timeline for each event
• Draft budget, including sourcing of funding and reconciliation of funding and expenses
• Handle all logistics, inclusive of procurement (eg. venue, online/travel arrangements) and on-site management during event
• Develop marketing materials such as posters and collaterals and for social media

• Administer pre- and post-event follow ups

• Manage manuscripts from drafting to publication.

ATORG Operations (30%)

• Assist in any other work as assigned, which may include administrative tasks

The National Heart Research Institute Singapore, based at the National Heart Centre Singapore, is currently offering a job opportunity to work with our Clinician Scientist in the area of cardiac imaging. The applicant needs to have experience in computer programming and be comfortable working with large imaging datasets coupled with multi-omics.
