In this position, successful candidate will work closely with the management and sales team as well as operations team who are currently based in Singapore.

The successful applicant will play a direct role in making our Singapore & Malaysia short courses & holiday programmes a success. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

● Customer Liaison:

○ Liaise with B2B customers (mainly Japanese-speaking customers) for pre-departure, during their study tours, and post-programme customer service.

○ Liaise with Group Leaders coming from abroad to ensure a high level of customer service.

○ Maintain a professional working relationship with staff, clients and venue staff.

○ Work closely with sales team to understand and manage customers requirements and expectation as well as to provide sales team with sales and after-sale support activities where required

● Operations:

○ Work with the operations team to provide customer service on-site to mainly Japanese-speaking groups, when student groups are in Singapore for their study tours as well as plan and execute logistics for study tours and travel itineraries.

○ Assist sales team and operations team in product planning, budgeting and costing estimates for study tours projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts (including group consolidation), review monthly accounting entries; generate management and statutory accounts for such entities
• Work closely with the Management and HQ Finance Team in strategy, operations, and finance, including financial control, tax, audit, treasury, financial and management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting;

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in accounting and finance, accounting professional qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA) is preferred;
• Minimum 10 Years of proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager/Financial Controller or in a similar role in Singapore, preferred experience in Supply Chain / Logistics Industry / China State-owned Entities.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and PRC GAAP
• Ability to excel in a start-up, fast-paced and demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead negotiations and manage medium to high-risk contracts so as to enhance and protect the commercial interest of the company.
• Drafts internal approval sheet and obtains the various levels of approval for all contracts.
• Handles post-award subcontract management of up to high-risk contracts which includes drafting, reviewing and approving of subcontract notices, amendments, change requests and change orders, management of warranty claims and formalization of subcontract closeout.
• Posts client contract award and manages prequalification and Request For Quotations (RFQs) for up to high-risk contracts independently.
• Organizes and maintains logs and files (both in terms of a central database and hard copy filing systems) in a systematic manner to allow for easy access by other department personnel.
• Performs miscellaneous commercial / contracts tasks as assigned.
• Approx. 90% office work and 10% site work including business trips. Possible occasional visits to construction sites (onshore)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area such as Law or quantity surveying/Master’s qualification in a relevant subject such as construction law, business administration or economics will be of value. Law and contract law as part of academic studies is preferred.
• 15 years of commercial/contracts experience.
• Preferably with experience in the offshore oil & gas industry. – FPSO, shipyard, topside experience/A preference for upstream oil and gas experience working for owner and contractor organisations in a project delivery environment.
• Knowledge of the technical, contractual and commercial disciplines connected with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects.
• General supervisory experience particularly in people management is essential.
• Candidates who have certification in either MRICS, MCIArb, SCL , CCMP or IACCM will be preferred.
