As the head of sales, you will be tasked to:

• Oversee the sales team
• Identify opportunities to boost profitability by targeting new customers and enhancing business with existing ones
• Manage the sales territory plan
• Handle tender management
• Establish and communicate ambitious sales targets for the team
• Conduct and participate in weekly/monthly sales meetings to review performance, achieved targets, and future strategies
• Maintain relationships with our principal carriers and key suppliers to support growth initiatives

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage order processing, fulfillment, and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction, including maintaining accurate sales and logistics records.
• Proactively address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints, improving customer relationships and experience.
• Support the implementation of customer service solutions and business process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Collect customer feedback, coordinate with team members, and assist in accounts and ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Experience:

• Requires tertiary education, preferably with experience in the optical industry.
• Strong background in customer service and documentation is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with excellent communication skills and a professional, positive attitude.
• Must be adaptable, able to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain composure with stressed customers, demonstrating a focus on quality, accuracy, and consistency.

Job Description & Requirements

• Manage Sales Activities including address customers' enquiries, invoices & delivery orders, sales order processing, initialling of quotations and collection of payments.
• Perform support to sales admin & marketing functions.
• Site visit / meeting to discuss on delivery requirement. Updating data, filing and others sales support.
• Provide inside sales support to internal department to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Other Ad-hoc sales & admin duties assigned.
• Follow up marketing channel management.
• Propose and conduct build-up of an efficient net-work of distributors in assigned territory.
• Co-operate with distributors to implement sales and/or marketing activities/programs in the assigned market.
• Co-operate with distributors working with their customers such as retailers, contractors, specifies to gain some key sales & marketing objectives in respect of sales volume, market coverage, retail chain-efficiency and so on.
• Build up networking with construction companies, contractors, specifiers, board of project management.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Graduate Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration / Management Studies / Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
• Having a minimum of 1 years working experience in sales will be an added advantage.
• Possess basic materials and market trend knowledge
• Knowledge of cemen and concrete technology or building materials
• Knowledge of latest product trends and activities
• Must be computer literate and have basic computer skills for reporting and presentation purposes
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and independent
• Possess own vehicle
