QA team Main Role

• The team is responsible for Capital Markets critical applications for the bank with strict response times and SLA to respect.

• Non-regression testing of the applications and associated services (Functional, Technical, Performance, and Behavior) to identify defects or bugs that need to be fixed before the software is released in production.

Job Purpose: Analyze, design, develop and maintain of IT applications, including documentation and post-implementation customer support.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

Analyze, design, program, test, document and maintain IT systems or applications

• Provide maintenance support to customers (internal and/or external) by investigating and rectifying reported systems shortcomings.

• Analyze requests for enhancements/changes and write amendment/program specifications.

• Update system documentation.

• Perform and manage stages of the SDLC and participate in the systems review with Project Lead/Manager.

• Understand the interdependencies of the services (application, system and database) and able to pin-point problem areas accurately to improve overall efficiency.

The Department and Position

The department is responsible for development and maintenance of Capital Market applications used by worldwide users.

The candidate will be involved with many front line IT professionals who understand the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems. The candidate will also be in touch with business users, infrastructure engineer and system managers.

The candidate will join the Singapore Capital Market Data Quality (smartDQ) IT team in charge of development of Data Quality management products.

The team works closely with other upstream and downstream systems such as – Front and Back Office applications (Orchestrade, Summit, Calypso, Murex etc.), helping them to implement smartDQ products.

The Team also works to build new capabilities for smartDQ products.
