• Process end-to-end payroll for Company with a headcount of around 200 including but not limited to, pro-ration of salary for new hires and resignees, submission of monthly CPF taxes, and other statutory payments.
• Ensuring accuracy of bank details and timely submission of bank files, providing payroll GL to the finance team for reconciliation, filing of IR21 and annual IR8A.
• Prepare payroll-related reports for management, government agencies, and auditors as required.

What You Will Be Working On

As an Investment Compliance and Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to investment compliance and risk management.

• Develop and implement effective financial processes and systems to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Manage and optimise funds' cash flows, maximizing investment returns while adhering to risk management policies.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of accounting officers, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and professional development.
• Act as a liaison with Government Bodies, Statutory Boards, and the President's Office on financial reporting matters, ensuring compliance and timely submissions.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks and projects to support the overall finance function.

What we are looking for

• Relevant work experience in accounting or audit, preferably with prior working experience or familiarity to the insurance industry.
• Good understanding of Singapore/Statutory Board Financial Reporting Standards, with proficiency in FRS 109 Financial Instruments.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret and convey complex financial information effectively.
• Experience with PowerBI or similar business intelligence tools preferred, with the ability to use data visualisation for enhanced reporting and insights.
• Continuous learning mindset, with a willingness to stay updated on evolving accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will hold the corporate title of Manager/Senior Manager, with seniority based on individual work experiences.
