About the Role

Job Purpose

This is a role in SMBC’s Private Wealth Group and it includes supporting the establishment of credit and risk policies and responsibility for private wealth related credit products including structured lending (single stock financing), Lombard lending, mortgage lending and insurance related lending. The role will entail write up of credit proposals , working with the head of credit solutions to establishing the framework for such credit products including Loan-to-value (LTV) and exposure management on various types of collateral and monitoring of the credit exposures. The role also involves review of structured loan documentation and continuous updating and development of process manuals for such lending.

The Event Director for FHA is responsible for overall Brand ownership, delivery of quality customer experience, and continuous growth of products to develop and maintain the Brand as a market leading entity. Key Responsibilities

The Cost Control Director is responsible for setting up and managing the financial systems for the Program including cash flow, yearly budgets, data collection, and analysis, cost control, and reporting to the Senior Management and Head Office as required.

Budget Development and Management
- Prepare detailed budgets for various departments and projects within the organization.

- Monitor actual expenditures against the budget and report variances.

Financial Reporting
- Prepare regular financial reports, including cost summaries, variance analysis, and forecasts.
- Present financial data to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Cost Tracking/Analysis and Cost Control Procedures
- Track and record all costs associated with projects

- Analyze cost data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and potential cost-saving opportunities.

- Implement and enforce cost control procedures across all departments.

Forecasting and Planning
- Develop cost forecasts and update them based on actual performance and changing conditions.
- Assist in long-term financial planning and strategy development for the organization.

Collaboration with Departments

- Work closely with department heads to understand their cost drivers and assist in

managing their budgets.

- Provide financial guidance and support to ensure effective cost management.

Process Improvement
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance cost efficiency.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to develop and execute cost-saving initiatives.

Risk and Compliance Management
- Identify financial risks related to cost overruns and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on risk factors that could impact the financial performance of the organization

- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed and organized financial records for audit and review purposes.

Staff Training and Development
- Train and mentor finance team on cost control practices and financial analysis techniques.
- Promote a culture of cost consciousness and financial accountability within the organization

Special Projects
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
- Provide financial analysis and support for new business ventures or expansions.

Job Requirements

· Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in finance, supply chain management, business administration, or equivalent.

· Minimum 10 years of experience Financial Planning & Analytics.

· A strong leader who is able to drive performance and focused on delivering the end-results, also able to lead the finance team

• Good knowledge of the Information Management framework, including operating model, data governance,data management, data security, data quality and data architecture.
• Strong skills in Agile delivery implementation methodology and delivery practices leveraging DevOpsautomation and engineering using CI/CD tools, code repositories and issue tracking and management.
• Experience in developing analytics application on public cloud stacks (Azure, AWS or GCP)

You will be part of International Projects team within Changi Airports International (CAI) or its subsidiaries. Responsibilities:

Traffic Development

• Develop strategic analysis to grow passenger / cargo traffic and aeronautical revenues for client airports.
• Assess the traffic development potential for target airports.
• Execute innovative and effective airline / industry marketing strategies.
• Build business cases for airline network planners.
• Work with industry, economic development and tourism authorities to drive growth of passenger and cargo traffic within identified target air service markets.
• Perform data analytics work to improve data tools and develop new data solutions where necessary.

Commercial Development

• Develop airport commercial strategy to grow airport revenue and enhance asset value involving conducting market research to gain insights to consumer behavior and industry benchmarking.
• Enhance Commercial layout configuration, Product and tenant mix configuration.
• Drive Tenant Marketing campaigns which could include crafting narrative, using social media and organizing roadshows.
• Draw up business plans which could include revenue modelling and financial analysis and term sheets for key commercial contracts.
• Conduct commercial performances analytics against budgets.
• Client engagement includes due diligence, reporting and presentations.

Airport Operations

• Provide guidance to Changi’s overseas airports, as well as client airports in operational areas.
• Analyse operational flows / processes and the passenger journey, identify pain points and recommend solutions.
• Guide / Support our asset airports and clients in developing processes, SOPs and manuals to meet regulatory, operational and business needs.
• Work with our counterparts at our asset airports to resolve operational issues.

Requirements:

• Good degree in any discipline with at least 8 years of related overseas work experience with minimally 5years in an airport traffic development role, or an airline network planning or revenue management role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin as you are required to interact with clients in China and/or Mandarin-speaking market segments.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and adjacent plugins, specifically advanced Excel, PowerPoint and think-cell.

Summary of the position:

This role is a key member of the HR team and reports directly to the Head of HR. The candidate should have proven end-to-end HR experience, ideally in Financial Services industry.

Main responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with stakeholder to deliver professional HR advisories, provide seamless HR support to its business as required and drive the implementation of HR practices and initiatives.
• Be a strategic advisor to the business on talent development matters including the identifying and grooming of hi-potential talent, talent succession, performance management and coaching managers through performance management conversations.
