Procurement

Duty & Responsibility

1. Manage shipping documentation formalities in regards to Port Authority / Customs / Tradenet / Portnet.
2. Ensure proper and timely billing / closing for all job files, issuance of credit note, internal expenses report by end of each month.
3. Coordinates day-to-day operations and transactions for freight forwarding and other related activity.
4. Manage job file creation, costing and other data entries in 56Cargo System.
5. Arrange bookings with carriers / co-loaders and execute all pertinent shipping documents, e.g. shipping order, trucking instruction, shipping certificate, subsidiary certificate, bill of lading, forwarder cargo receipt, export subsidiary certificate, etc.
6. Send pre-alerts and shipping advices timely to customers and agent.
7. Coordinates dispatch of shipping documents to customers and agent.
8. Assist for rate sourcing with various carriers.
9. Provide guidance and training to new staffs.
10. Adhere to all company rules and regulations including safety rules
11. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Job Description:

• Materials planning - Monitor regularly to ensure stock requirements are met accordingly.
• Review product specification/technical data from suppliers to customers.
• Responsible for general sales administration (respond to quality/product enquiry) and supply chain activities.
• Develop and build strong relationship with local and overseas suppliers/ vendors and assist in day-to-day customer service activities.
• Handle Import & Export shipment arrangement.
• In charge of logistic and third parties warehousing agents.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or any Engineering field.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably with related experience in Chemical Distribution/ Semiconductor industries.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and ideally proficient in Chinese (in order to negotiate and handle queries with overseas Mandarin speaking suppliers/vendors in regards with the import & export shipment arrangement matters).
• Hands on experience using SAP/Navision system and ISO, strong in Microsoft Office, especially Excel would be an advantage.
• Ability to prioritize work-load, make systematic and logical decisions under pressure.

The Supply Chain Production Coordinator is a member of the LVMH Fragrances & Cosmetics Singapore Production Team. She/He is responsible for all communications and coordination with a prominent strategic Korean supplier and Chinese suppliers for a major product line. She/He is the owner of components sourcing and planning, production orders planning and exchange, and completing the goods flow with the dispatch of finished goods to customers and/or partners located worldwide.

Internally, the Supply Chain Production Coordinator works closely with purchasing, packaging development, Brand production units, demand management, shipping, and quality teams to consolidate information, coordinate and align actions, challenge the different parties, and raise alerts whenever necessary.

She/He reports to the Production Manager and Assistant Manager.

Key responsibilities:

1. Marketing Offers and Production Strategy

• Main receiver of information from HQ sharing about the new projects and products.
• In close relation with HQ packaging development teams and collaborates with Singapore regional demand management team on the production strategy to be deployed to meet commercial targets from markets.
• Supervises and tracks item processes in systems such as item code creation, bill of materials, item status and parameters, pricing, etc.

2. Components

• Place orders for components to suppliers considering the different aspects of replenishment, receiving, consumption and stock.
• Closely coordinate with the Singapore shipping team, HQ Customer Service, and suppliers on the ordering and shipment of components to the production facilities in Korea, Singapore, or other countries.

3. Supplier Production Plans

• Build in collaboration with the supplier production plans and follow their accurate execution.
• Communicate the shipping plans for components and finished goods to the supplier and follow execution.
• Ensure production and shipping plans are timely and accurately reflected in systems for holistic visibility and tracking.

4. Singapore Assembly Plans

• Participate, collaborate, and arbitrate the assembly activities with the Singapore production and distribution planning teams.
• Manage the assembly work orders with the Singapore production team from a full-service perspective including service level, stock level and transportation.

5. Service and Stock

• Follow the execution of the overall process and raise alerts when delays or issues are identified.
• Proposes initiatives to improve collaboration with the supplier and whole subcontracting processes in general.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Relevant work experience in the Supply Chain areas of Production Planning, Demand Planning or Distribution Planning.
• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across different departments and countries.
• Excellent organization skills with a proactive mindset, and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Language: Fluent in English (written, spoken); Korean, Chinese, and French (written, spoken) are a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• SAP knowledge would be an advantage.

This Position is a hybrid-based position with an on-site location in SIngapore (Pioneer area). Company transport provided at Boon Lay, Jurong East and Outram MRT )

Job Description:

- Perform statistical analysis based on past consumption, lead time, value of material, EUC requirements and provide recommendation to support operations.

- Periodic review of inventory level to trigger replenishment up to level to support operations materials requirements based on provisioning model in considerations of Lead time, Consumption, EUC Requirements, Value of Material, MOQ, EOQ.

- Establish monthly engagement with respective stakeholders to review and rundown legacy stock and stock obsolesce.

- Work closely with project team to develop projections to ensure project requirements and schedule, as well as adjust projection according to changes in the project deliverables/schedules.

- Communicate with respective stakeholder on SNCA and expired materials in order to undertake the correct resolution to these stocks.

Job Requirements:

- Degree/ Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/ Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

- Candidate with at least 1 year of working experience in the related field is preferred.

Requirements

• WSQ Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene.

• 1 Year Prior Working Experience with a Band-Saw.
• Familiar with food handling and handling process.
• Must be physically fit and strong as the job requires carrying of stocks and long hour standing environment.
