Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare, or a related field.
  
• Experience:5+ years of experience in business development or sales, specifically in contract logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
  Prior experience in the medical or pharmaceutical industry is mandatory, with a deep understanding of industry regulations, handling requirements, and market needs.
  
• Skills:Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the logistics or pharmaceutical industry.
  Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  Ability to develop customized logistics solutions, with a focus on temperature control, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
  Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards, such as Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for pharmaceuticals.

About the role

The incumbent will be leading a team and be part of a larger team within the IFF department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.

The successful candidate

Role:

This position will provide management and strategic direction regarding trade compliance and freight. The Logistics Manager will lead cross functional teams responsible for establishing the most cost effective, timely and secure movement of goods in all modes of transport (ocean, land, and air) and may also procure and oversee third party logistics partnerships.
