Job Summary: As an Assistant Commercial Manager in Beng Kuang Group, you will provide crucial support in handling the commercial aspects of shipyard projects, including assisting with quotations, project costings, and contract management within Singapore and Indonesia.

You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and other internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects, accurate cost estimation, and profitability. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Quotation Support:
   • Assist in preparing and reviewing quotations for shipyard projects, considering factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
   • Collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary information for quotations.
   • Conduct research to ensure competitive pricing and market analysis.
2. Project Costing Assistance:
   • Support the Commercial Manager in developing and maintaining project cost estimation models to ensure accurate project costings.
   • Assist in analyzing project requirements, specifications, and scope to determine resource needs and cost implications.
   • Collaborate with project teams to gather cost-related data and validate project budgets.
3. Contract Management Support:
   • Assist in reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Responsible for implementing ISP Algorithm into HW using Verilog, SystemVerilog and/or SystemC (High Level Synthesis)
• Define ISP HW Architecture based on product features and performance requirements, also with gate count and power estimation
• Verify Logic at ISP level and Digital System level
• Optimize Design for less gate count and low power consumption
• Drive ISP Design activities in close collaboration with ISP Algorithm Team

Roles & Responsibilities

· Perform the repair, maintenance, or overhaul of marine diesel engines 2 & 4 stroke under the supervision of Engineer / Technicians.

· Comply with all the requirements to carry out the jobs in the shipyards or anchorages.

· Lifting and shifting heavy components of engine back to the workshop for repair/reconditioning and vice-versa.

· Ensure prompt response and smooth communication with the customers

· Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Operation Manager

Job Requirements:

· Relevant marine / mechanical / engineering qualification

· Hands-on experience in trouble-shooting, maintenance and repair is an added advantage

· Candidates with no experience may apply as apprentices as training will be provided

· Willing to work in a shipyard/anchorage environment

· Able to work overtime as and when needed
