Job Purpose:
- The role supports the Regional Commercial Director of APAC region with insightful analysis to improve decision making process. In addition, the incumbent will support the consolidation of multiple data sources (both internal and external) and provide a single source of truth to internal stakeholders.
- Key deliverables will be the output from key projects that helps translate data into actionable insights with clear recommendations on actions to drive revenue and margin growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform descriptive, diagnostic and predictive analytics using multiple data sources.
- Specific focus areas include:
Pricing elasticity analytics for profit optimization,
Correlation/ Cause & effect analytics to support business investment decisions.
- Part of the role would include consolidation of multiple data sources in the form of Power BI dashboard for democratized access within company.
Requirements:
- Education
Undergraduate or graduate student from local universities such as NUS, NTU, SMU.
Discipline of study: Decision Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related field.
- Language
English is mandatory, Knowledge of other Asian languages a plus but not a must.
- Experience & Skills
Strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of excel, developing Power BI dashboards. Knowledge of programming skills like R or Python would be a plus.
Prior experience in statistical modelling using linear and multiple regressions, elasticity modelling.
Able to perform complex data analysis and translate them to actionable insights. And ability to articulate it to broader audience through data visualization.
Able to communicate well and make good presentations using Powerpoint.
