1. To provide backup secretarial support in the absence of the Senior PA on managing the Chairman’s schedule and any other matters such as:Plan and schedule the CEO’s overseas business visits, notify all involved, develop itineraries and agendas and communicate expectations, overall goals and objectives on his behalf.
   Assist in the compilation of management reports, statistics, presentations, organization charts and meeting agendas, as well as prepare presentation materials for regional meetings.
   Provide on-site support at board meetings, including taking of meeting minutes.
   
2. Coordinate/work with the Senior PA in hosting(s) including preparation, receiving and handling of guests/VIPs’ visits, especially large groups or events.
3. Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mails and courier arrangements.
4. To handle all administrative and tracking matters for the Chairman including but not limited to memberships, applications, arranging for gifts, flowers, greetings and filings etc.
5. To support, arrange and maintain records of corporate and festive gifting and delivery process.
6. To assist in organizing events and getting refreshments, etc
7. To assist with general administration support such as processing correspondence and letters, photocopying, printing, scanning, typing, couriers, maintaining contact databases, post and others.
8. To assist in travel, hotel arrangements, custom declarations and/or visa applications.
9. Manage all expense claims and facilitate restaurant booking.
10. Lead personal matters/projects including but not limited to Accommodation / Home, renovations, any household-related matters or errands.
11. Provide on/off-site support to the Chairman or any other designate, as required.
12. To handle sensitive business communications, data and other information with professionalism confidentiality and discretion, both internally and externally
13. Any other duties as assigned by the Chairman, senior management team and the Senior PA.

Job Summary:

As a Laboratory Assistant in the Electrochemical Lab at Aprisum, you will play a crucial role in supporting our testing business. Aprisium develop novel electrochemical technologies and functional surfaces. Your responsibilities will primarily involve conducting certified laboratory tests of samples, analysing data, and to collaborate with the senior research team to achieve company project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform laboratory tests with Aprisium equipment.
2. Perform certifed tests on client samples.
3. Support the research and development with diligent preparation of reagents and materials.
4. Prepare and handle chemical solutions, reagents, and materials required for experimental procedures.
5. Operate and maintain electrochemical testing equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functioning.
6. Collect and record data meticulously, maintaining organized and detailed lab notebooks.
7. Collaborate closely with the senior research team to troubleshoot and optimize experimental setups.
8. Contribute to the development and improvement of experimental protocols and procedures.
9. Stay updated with the latest advancements and publications in the field of electrochemistry and related areas.
10. Comply with safety protocols, maintaining a safe and clean laboratory environment.
11. Communicate findings and progress to the team effectively, both verbally and in written reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Degree or Diploma in fields related to Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science.
2. Previous experience or coursework in electrochemistry or related areas is desirable.
3. Familiarity with laboratory techniques, instruments, and safety protocols.
4. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing project needs.
6. Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and results to team members.
7. Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges.
8. Plus if experience in managing a laboratory (LIMS, ISO 17025, SAC Singlas etc.).
