co11ab is a BioMedtech incubator, established jointly between the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore), the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR), and the National Healthcare Group (NHG). Co11ab’s mission is to nurture and support the translational development of biomedical technologies by incubating early stage spin-outs and facilitating their development into more established companies. co11ab is physically located in Clinical Sciences Building, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, NTU Novena Campus. Responsibilities

The Assistant Executive will provide assistance to the Executive Director (ED) and support to the Administration Team in the day-to-day management of co11ab’s operations as directed by the ED. The support will be in multiple areas such as digital marketing, clerical duties, records maintenance, routine upkeep of non-scientific facilities, meetings and events management, and basic administrative support to co11ab’s members (start-up companies). The Assistant Executive provides the primary point of contact for co11ab’s members and visitors, and plays an important role in supporting co11ab’s Executive and Administrative Team to fulfil their duties and enhancing co11ab’s members experience of the facility and services.

1. Provide first line support to co11ab visitors and members: Attend to the reception area to control and record entry/exit from the incubator facility, as well as to assist visitors and members in their use of the facility and services, and to direct their enquiries to the appropriate member of the Administration Team

2. Maintain co11ab’s communal facilities: Daily maintenance (upkeep) of co11ab’s non-laboratory facilities including reception, collision space, bistro and common working/meeting areas

3. Support co11ab personnel: Provide assistance to the Executive Director (ED), and provide ad hoc support to members of the Administration Team as directed by the ED, in activities such as record keeping, performance tracking, meeting coordination, preparation of materials, receiving deliveries and mail, subscriptions, telephony etc.

4. Facilitate co11ab events: Support the Executive Director and Administration Team, in organising, promoting and running online and/or physical marketing, networking and/or educational events held either physically or virtually.

5. Support co11ab marketing and branding: Support the Executive Director and Administration Team to build co11ab brand awareness, gain traction and manage co11ab’s online presence (website and social media platform).

Requirements

• Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or Facilities/Events/Hospitality Management.

NTU Shared Services (NSS) is a centralized unit within Nanyang Technological University (NTU) that provides a wide range of administrative, operational, and support services to various departments and units within the university. The NSS Technical Support Executive is responsible for providing effective IT/AV technical support role, in relation to the generic desktop/ laptop PCs, mobile devices, Audio Visual (AV) equipment, as well as NTU campus software. Nanyang Business School (NBS) invites applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow (Post-doc) with Prof. Xin Chang’s research group. This position is supported by a Tier III grant to establish a Climate Transformation Programme (CTP) at NTU. As part of this programme, the Climate Finance Cluster will assess the multifaceted business risks posed by the physical impacts of climate change, narrow the protection gap, and facilitate the transition to a low-carbon economy.

The Senior Research Fellow will be responsible for developing procedures to measure and price risks arising from climate change suitable for each company so that climate risk can be managed by companies and hedged by investors, and seeing this work through to publication in major research journals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use computational linguistic tools and machine learning techniques to analyze discussions on climate change in corporate social responsibility reports, conference call transcripts, and the Management Discussion and Analysis section of companies’ annual reports

• Construct a dataset that can produce a climate risk fact sheet containing essential information about various climate risk exposure (e.g., drought, flooding) of a region or a city

• Develop a new multifactor asset pricing model containing a climate risk factor, which investors can use to effectively price in climate change risk and hedge climate risk

The Challenge

Maintain standards and quality processes in food manufacturing operations;

• Conduct daily in-process quality control inspections at production lines to ensure alignment with internal requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Maintain integrity, accuracy and completeness of QC data and records
• Perform routine calibration and maintenance of equipment
• Assist in export documentation consolidation and Health Certificate application
• Assist in monitoring and inspecting company infrastructure, equipment and utilities
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to improve overall product quality and consistency.
• Inspect in-coming and out-going products according to receiving and shipping policy
• Review and validate supplier raw material records and results (COA)
• Process improvements initiatives across the company

Conduct tests for food quality and packaging;

• Sensory evaluation of products aligned with specification
• Perform product sampling for laboratory tests

Rectify non-compliance issues (Customer Complaints / Audit findings);

• Support traceability investigations into lapses in quality, hygiene standards and non-compliance to quality standards. Conduct investigation and follow up with corrective action

Conduct training for production staff on quality control procedures, GMP practices, and food safety protocols;

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience / Diploma in Food Science or related field.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and GMP principle
• Proactive, willing to learn and good follow-up skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the team in managing the short to medium-term funding, liquidity and sources of financial risk.

• Process payments, monitor daily cash position, manage foreign currency exposure, reconciliation and deposits with banks
• Maintain and enforce the appropriate payment policies (as per mandate)
• Provide banking transactions supporting documents to the accounting/financial team.
• Maintain and administer various bank accounts
• Administer internal and external loan portfolio
• Assist with trade finance facility negotiation and annual review
• Assist with regular KYC and onboarding with banks
• Support the team in general administration duties, ad-hoc projects and tasks
• Actively participate and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental processes through QMS

• Degree in Finance/Accounting from a recognised university (local university is preferred)
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience preferably in treasury or corporate finance
• Strong communication skills
• Good team player with a positive attitude
• Able to carry out recurring work in a precise and accurate manner
• Analytical with the ability to manage and present data logically
• Ready to provide supports and take on challenges
• Is dependable and reliable
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
