What will you do?

In this position, you will join our Singapore Buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it is the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed designs and documentation for the implementation of building projects, lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup.
• Preparation of calculations required for the design of engineering projects.
• Preparation of specifications, proposals, and other tender documentation.
• Use initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise at a competent level.
• Act as a technical expert to mentor and develop other structural engineers within the team, and provide structural design expertise in overseeing all technical aspects of projects.
• Liaison with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and communicate clearly with colleagues and managers.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Recognised Civil & Structural Engineering qualification (Bachelor / Master’s degree).
• Minimum 10 to 15+ years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy environment.
• Proven proficiency and experience in civil / structural engineering design and analysis on building projects in Singapore.
• Solid experience in reinforced concrete, post tension concrete and structural steelwork design. Seismic design experience is advantageous.
• Sound understanding and application of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices.
• Strong client focus, excellent communication skills, teamwork, and self-motivation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Handle general enquiries – walk in or phone.

2. Liaise and schedule meetings with external referral sources/community partners.

3. Schedule and arrange for new clients’ initial intake interviews

4. Manage database records and physical files of each client

5. Collate case management statistics and prepare monthly report for management review

6. Invoice / billing of fees and keep track of payment related to clients’ record

7. Handle all administrative work pertaining to the operation of the Centre such as ordering stationary, processing of invoices, claims, sourcing for and liaising with suppliers, maintaining office equipment and consumables, keeping inventory of fixed assets, office mail system, ensuring the cleanliness of the Centre

8. Monthly collation of team clients meeting statistics and ensure records match to Ingot and all other internal and funding source reports.

9. Record minutes of meetings

10. Facilitate the work of the SACS Accounts and HR by providing necessary data/ information and performing specific tasks as requested

11. Ensure health and safety policy is properly implemented in the Centre

12. Ensure processing of new intakes, discharges and rejection within the timeframe

13. Handle regulatory advisories such as staff movement, environmental sanitization regime, ventilation guidelines and all other new mandatory regulatory requirements that involve daily monitoring

14. Proficient in the use of Microsoft application to improve operation workflow

15. Maintain and ensure the contract of services are current and not expired.

16. Ensure the handling of centre-based daily accounting processing in accordance to the Finance Manual.

17. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Centre Head
