The Role:
Responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient running of MDAS development and enrichment programmes and its operations for the advancement and growth of members with muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular conditions.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and evaluate vocational and enrichment programmes, incorporate job-readiness skills and nurture good work habits to achieve competencies in both hard and soft skills.
2. Develop, coach, assess and evaluate group and personalised skills-based curriculum. These include community mobility training, situational awareness and social development.
3. Support job placement, provide guidance and liaise with employers.
4. Co-ordinate transport schedule and oversee driver.
5. Overall in-charge of social enterprise including designing and developing creative works; marketing and sale order fulfillment of products and merchandises.
6. Perform administrative and finance roles including maintaining statistics and reports.
7. Establish and review Standard of Operating Procedures
Others:
1. Support in any duties pertaining to Programmes & Services of MDAS
2. Assist in roadshows, fundraising activities, and public awareness projects
3. You may be assigned other duties by your supervisor
Job requirements:
1. Minimum diploma qualification, degree preferred
2. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Nurturing and dedicated to the development and well-being of youths and young adults.
4. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) an advantage.
5. Skills in developing and managing websites in WordPress an advantage.
6. Able to multi-task.
Reporting supervisor: Head of Department
Location: Junction 8, Bishan
Working Hours: Monday–Friday (9am to 6pm) & Saturday (half day once monthly)
