Purpose of the post

The Senior Research Fellow will be responsible for, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and a team of researchers on the goals set out for the projects of interest. The SRF’s principal role will be to work on enhancing tools of the Enzyme Function Initiative at National University of Singapore (EFI@NUS), as part of the SynBio-AI Innovation Accelerator of the National Centre for Engineering Biology. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our understanding of complex biological systems through the application of advanced bioinformatics techniques. The ideal candidate will have expertise in quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping, genome-wide association studies (GWAS), transcriptome-wide association studies (TWAS), and imputation analysis. The role also requires the candidate to work closely with other stakeholders such as but not limited to: NUS SynCTI, NSCC, University of Illinois, AI.SG, NCEB.

· Handle full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL)

· Handle daily operational AP/AR tasks including invoicing, statement of accounts and follow-up on aged receivables, payment and staff claims.

· Manage and responsible monthly cash flow.

· Assist with month-end closing activities (bank reconciliation, BS schedules and audit schedules), intercompany reconciliation, quarterly GST submission and income tax filing process

· Prepare analysis of accounts as and when required.

· Maintain fixed assets register.

· Follow up on overdue invoices and payments and implement company collections procedures as necessary.

· Maintain good documentation and filing system.

· Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting.

· Preparation of financial statements to meet statutory requirements and in compliance with the FRS will be added advantages.

· Liaise with auditors, tax agents, & bankers as and when required.

Requirements

· Diploma in Accounting/ ACCA or equivalent.

· Minimum 3 years of relevant working experince in AP/AR/GL & preparation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities in accordance with Town Council Financial Rules, including the administration of Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt Notes etc;

As an Operations Executive dedicated to the night shift at our Rise Above Halfway House, your primary objectives are to ensure the safety, security, and smooth functioning of night operations. Your role encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at maintaining a secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the overall security of the premises by following the Halfway House’s SOPs to prevent unauthorised access and mitigate potential risks
• Oversee and actively contribute to the smooth running of night operations
• Conduct regular patrol to identify and address any security vulnerabilities
• Maintain an updated log of night-time security matters, ensuring accurate documentation
• Ensure seamless handover and takeover of shifts, fostering a smooth transition between operational periods
• Monitor and control access points to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Facilitate the secured entry and exit of residents, staff, and visitors to the Halfway House
• Conduct routine security checks using handheld metal detectors and perform bag searches
• Prioritise the overall safety and well-being of residents, and attending to any emergency needs promptly
• Assist in the issuance of daily breakfast and, when necessary, facilitate the distribution of medications to residents
• Act as the first point of contact for any incidents during your duty period

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma in a relevant field such as Security Management, or a related discipline
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in security operations in residential setting, correctional facility or a related environment
• Experience in working night shifts is preferred

· Recipe creation and optimisation for new R&D applications requirement.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance planning cum execution and vendor management.

· To take charge of new tools technical assessment and tender creation (equipment cum process application startup) and service contract tender set-up

· Drive continuous improvement projects (CIP) to achieve better measurement repeatability (MSA, GR&R, SPC etc).

Requirement:
