The candidate reports to the Head of the NUS School of Computing Research Office and works closely with the research grant administration team to manage both internally funded as well as externally funded research grants from government agencies and industries. As part of IME’s Photonics & Sensors Department, the candidate will take lead of the development of various testing capability for advanced photonics, including but not limited to chip-level and wafer-level testing of optical devices and electro-optical devices at high RF frequencies, as well as the testing of electro-optical sub-modules and sub-systems.
