The applicant will work closely with a leading R&D team from the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), NUS where the use of singly-ionized lutetium (Lu+) for optical clock applications has been pioneered and its key atomic properties relevant to clock performance has been established. This Lu+ ion has a unique atomic structure supporting a total of three clock transitions with extremely low sensitivities to external electromagnetic fields, making it a globally competitive frequency standard with recent measurements demonstrating its capability for fractional inaccuracies at the level of 10-18 and beyond.

Successful applicant will join our Time & Frequency Laboratory and be responsible to develop a broad range of solutions that enable progress in cutting-edge science of optical clocks that could lead to the SI Second being redefined. Together with the team from CQT, NUS, the applicant will take the ownership to jointly develop a Lu+ optical clock.

More specifically, the applicant will be involved in the design and development of atom/ion experimental setups, including frequency stabilized laser systems, data acquisition systems and software for experimental control & analysis. Job Description

• Set up the standard operating processes and templates to support global events and international operations at scale.
• Coordinating with partners, setting up/maintaining event registration pages, drafting marketing materials, sending marketing materials via SGN’s marketing platforms, tracking event sign-ups or assisting in post-event matters.
• Assist in back-of-house operations as part of the enhanced partnership framework. This includes but not limited to procuring services from vendors, drafting partnership agreements with corporate partners, coordinating with relevant parties involved in the operations, setting up meetings/progress updates, tracking the agreements, managing marketing inventories and handling of data entry/processing for internal systems.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise/Take charge of the strategic planning, coordination, and assessment of the company’s logistics operational activities
