Job Description

HR Operations

• Facilitate the on-boarding/off-boarding process by preparing the letter of appointment/end of employment letter, work pass application/termination, and coordinate with the respective departments;
• Collect and compile all necessary documents to create new hire’s profile / P-file;
• Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding/offboarding, new-hire orientations, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance;
• Monitor and coordinate work passes renewal and its related administration;
• Assist in drive employee engagement by collating data and analyse workers’ feedbacks pertaining to work environment, remunerations and job fit;
• Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees on employee-related matters
• Involve in the implementation of HR processes such as manpower planning, recruitment, compliance with local legislation and labour laws;
• Handling and supporting additional projects as needed.

Learning and Development

• Provide end-to-end operational support for all learning & development initiatives e.g. course registration, monitoring and evaluation of training budgets and programs, coordinating programs, training grants administration, bond administration, training records, program evaluation etc;
• Coordinate and support in-house training program (e.g. logistical and F&B requirements, room layout, attendance etc.);
• Support the planning and implementation of Learning Management System (LMS);
• Monitor completion of mandated learning courses and identify lapses for enhancements;

Job Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field;
• 2 years' experience as a HR Generalist or equivalent;
• Resourceful, independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Experience with Unit4 Prosoft software is preferred;
• Ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary.

The jobholder supports the organisation in a range of communication activities such as media relations, event staffing, marketing and projects. The jobholder must be comfortable in providing communication consult, lead media relations, and publicity efforts for events.

The jobholder must ensure consistent messaging and communication of MENDAKI’s image and position to internal and external stakeholders. This includes crafting communication materials, pitching human-interest stories and profiles as well as to facilitate media queries.

Lastly, the jobholder must manage interview requests and provide staffing for spokesperson(s) including but not limited to political office holders, members of parliament, MENDAKI leadership team, beneficiaries, volunteers and participants.

Key Responsibility Areas

Media Relations

• Develop and implement communication activities to increase the publicity of MENDAKI's events, programmes and services
• This includes but not limited to develop media angle, key messages/narratives, draft communication materials such as media release and information sheet, as well as to facilitate interviews, and track coverage
• Ensure consistent messaging and communication
• Support the organisation’s media relations with various media partners including government agencies across different media agencies and channels
• Profiling human-interest stories through media pitching
• Work with departments to prepare communication materials such as
  administrative programme, speeches and/or talking points, social media posts, media releases, identify human-interest stories
• Lead media officer to support MENDAKI departments such as School Ready, HR and IT

Communication Projects

• Support editorial collaboration with media partners
• Support publicity efforts for digital projects with government agencies

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Marketing or Mass Communication
• 2 years of relevant experience in public and/or media relations
• Good written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous with attention to details
• Strong digital marketing communication and social media
• Ability to manage multiple projects within tight timelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications

• Prior experience in PC-based control programming.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Solid background in image processing, pattern recognition, or machine vision.
• Familiarity with machine learning, including experience with deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, Darknet, etc.
• Hands-on experience with OpenCV or Cognex CVL is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive willingness to learn.

· Responsible to provide a safe environment during activity sessions which encourages participation and social inclusion, which promotes a healthy well-being of the clients.

· Actively assist in the implementation of programmes ensuring that they remain relevant to the wellbeing of seniors.

· Assist to engage community partners, build effective and sustainable partnerships with them to serve the needs of the seniors

· Effective follow up skills and able to meet short turnaround time.

· Ensure all seniors are duly registered in our membership database and screened with the AIC Community Screener Tool. Seniors who require befriending will be registered in the Integrated Referral Management System (IRMS).

· Coordinate festivities and regular programmes at the centre and engage vendor or corporate/student volunteers to facilitate the sessions.

· Assist to oversee senior attendance, including house visit, distribute rations, outings, video conferencing, classes and festivities.

· Work closely with Reporting Officer on engagement strategy to ensure KPI can be met.

· Ensure reports are accurately generated.

· Liaise with relevant agencies on funding for programmes.

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma in related discipline or its equivalent

· Min.1 year relevant experience in social services agencies

· Passion for working with seniors in the senior care centre and community setting

· Good communications skills, a team player, able to work independently.

· Tech savvy and proficient in MSOffice

· Ability to communicate in local dialects will be advantageous

· Require to attend/organise events during weekends, if any
