Job Descriptions
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Head of Retail to lead our beauty retail
business to new heights. As the Head of Retail, you will be responsible for driving sales
growth, enhancing customer experience, and developing retail expansion plan. Your strong
leadership, analytical prowess, and deep understanding of market trends will play a critical
role in shaping the success of our beauty retail operations.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and
market share goals.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and potential
areas of improvement.
• Lead the retail team to drive exceptional performance, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation and driving retail operations excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create an exceptional customer journey in-
store.
• Work with the Marketing team to implement strategies to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and retention.
• Monitor customer feedback and insights to continually improve the overall shopping
experience.
• Work closely with the Category team to curate a compelling product assortment
aligned with current beauty trends and customer preferences.
• Utilize market intelligence to identify emerging beauty trends and incorporate them
into the product mix.
• Optimize visual merchandising and store layouts to maximize sales potential.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to
make informed business decisions.
• Conduct regular analysis of competitors' strategies and offerings to maintain a
competitive edge.
• Develop and manage the annual budget for the commercial department, allocating
resources effectively to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor expenses and financial performance to ensure alignment with budgetary
constraints.
• Provide strong leadership, coaching, and guidance to the retail teams, which includes
leading the team to develop an education program for the retail team.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages continuous
learning and growth.
Requirements
• A passion for beauty and a strong sense of creativity.
• Relevant experience in commercial or sales positions, with hands-on exposure in
Singapore and region.
• Regional retail expansion planning experience in retail industry is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of the beauty industry, including trends, brands and consumer
preferences.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market insights, and
financial reports.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.
• Proficiency in using sales and data analysis tools.
• Previous experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
