In this role, you will collaborate closely with various teams within the company, including marketing and operations. You will play a critical part in driving new business opportunities and expanding our market presence. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, nurturing relationships, and developing tailored travel solutions that meet the diverse needs of our customers. Your ability to analyze market trends and customer preferences will be essential in shaping our offerings and staying ahead of the competition.

Job Responsibilities

• Handling of sales enquiries, tour bookings, customizations, and amendments.
• Prepare sales quotations, tour proposals and itineraries for customers.
• Assisting with sales outreach, cold calling, EDMs etc.
• Generate leads, reach out to potential clients, pitch and close sales.
• Coordinating with Ops team in relation to sales matters.
• Assist in operational procedures i.e customization of tours, tour logistics and on the ground management.
• Data entry to ensure all sales records, databases are up to date.
• Assist in post-sales work which includes following up with client experience, getting reviews.
• Liaising with clients, vendors, and suppliers on behalf of managers.
• Communicate and liaise with finance team with regards to invoices and payments.
• Work with internal and marketing teams to achieve company strategic objectives and goals.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements, Skills and Experience

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work indenpendtley and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Education

• Studied Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Business Development or Sales, preferably in the travel industry is a plus

Responsibilities:

1. Achieve optimal profitability and overall success by managing costs and service quality.

2. Supervise and co-ordinate daily banquet operations including control of Banquet inventory

3. Ensure set-up of banquet room, food presentation, serving, customer service and clean-up are carried out according to standards.

4. Schedule full time and part time staff to provide adequate and consistent level of service within approved/budgeted manpower cost.

5. Ensure all staff (including part time staff) are given proper training

6. Work with the Chefs, Banquet Sales and Facilities department to ensure all arrangements and details of the event are dealt with.

7. Handle customer feedback and follow up on problems which may arise from event

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

1. At least ‘O’ level and above with 3-5 years of relevant experience in banquet operations and managerial position

2. Ability to establish good rapport with customers for repeat sales

3. Strong leadership and communication skills

4. Service oriented with a positive personality and comfortable with interacting with people of all levels.
