RESPONSIBILITIES

Care Corner Learning and Special Needs Support is looking to expand our focus from just educational therapy to providing wholistic support for children with learning and special needs. We are seeking a Specialist with a passion to support children with learning and special needs. This individual would ideally have experience teaching children individually or in small group sizes, open to working from different locations and keen to teach children in our own Intervention Programme.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach English and Math to children (age 5 to 12) with learning difficulties/disabilities.
• Plan and conduct individual and group intervention programmes/activites for children with special needs.
• Assess the developmental needs of children, doing up each child's Individual Educational Programme (IEP) and Progress Report (PR) to address the needs of the children in the assigned classes.
• Engage parents in executing intervention and development strategies for the children.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood/ Pre-School Teaching/ Early Years/ Special Education, Learning DisordersManagement or any other related fields.
• Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) will be preferred.
• Experience in specialised intervention methods with children will be an added advantage (e.g. OG, Jolly Phonics, visual processing training, rhythmic movement training).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Entry level candidates and candidates without the relevant experience are welcome to apply if you have a passion to work with children with special needs.

Location: Primarily Woodlands. Required to work from different centres, eg. Tampines, Toa Payoh.

There are two levels - Specialist and Senior Specialist, relevant experience will be aligned to right role level.

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood/ Pre-School Teaching/ Early Years/ Special Education, Learning Disorders Management or any other related fields

Overall Job Objectives

Assist the project manager, lead the team to complete the project manager's work objectives and progress. Assist Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and receive the rebar sent to the site. Record the necessary data.

Core Responsibilities

1. Assist BBS to receive reinforcement materials sent to the site

2. Familiar with architectural drawings and structural drawings

3. Communicate and implement project manager's objectives to ensure work progress, quality and safety meet customer requirements.

4. Teach and personally demonstrate how to erect stirrups, install and bind rebar.

5. Check the size, quantity and spacing of steel bars. Ensure the quality of completed rebars meets the requirements of consultant's Specification and PE Design Requirements.

6. Following RE or RTO on site to carry out the inspection and rectification the defect, then hand over to the concrete supervisor for concrete casting.

7. Achieve efficiency targets set by the company and site Project Manager.

8. Report daily progress, quality, safety and efficiency to the project manager before the end of work.

Job Specifications

1. Passed the test of steel bar skills of BCA. Qualified BCSS certificate.

2. Able to read/understand/execute work based on construction drawings, Basic drawing recognition skills, able to read the material list and drawings of BBS.

3. Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills

4. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsiblities

• Manage construction activities and progress independently.
• Supervise and lead a team of workers and sub-contractor to perform on site work.
• Resolve design site problems encountered during the construction period.
• Prepare daily progress report,work schedule and worker schedule.
• Able to understand structural drawing, specifications and requirements.
• Monitoring and control of contract works to ensure compliance with technical specifications, code of practice, scope of work and to enforce safety regulations.
• Perform onsite installation, troubleshooting, repair, routine checks and maintenance.
• Responsible for general electrical fitting work.
• Other work-related duties as and when required.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of reading specifications and building drawings.
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required.
• Experience with track records in A&A projects would be an advantage.
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company
• Able to speak and understand Chinese language to able communicate effectively with the vendors , sub-contractors and workers.
• Singaporean and Permanent Residence preferred to apply.

• Assist to carry out daily supervision of all site implementations at site.
• Ensure implementations are carried out according to construction programme.
• Handle builder works coordination with Archi works
• Supervision Archi works based on daily activities
• Communicate & coordination with main contractor and management team

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or trade certificate in Architecture or Equivalent
• Must have experience in architecture project works supervision
• Minimum at least 7-10 years of experience is required
• Able to control and ensure the architecture works are carried up according to the specification and standard.
