• Perform month-end closing activities 
• Perform full sets of accounts, including the consolidation of overseas subsidiaries, reviewing month-end closing entries and reporting packages from outsourced accounting providers, and maintaining accurate balance sheet schedules
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages with variance analyses.
• Responsible for day-to-day financial and accounting operations within the group which may include intercompany entries, bank reconciliation, revenue billing, capital expenditures, and other transactions
• Assume ownership of General Ledger responsibilities by managing transactions and events relating to balance sheet, such as accruals, prepayments, capital structure, assets, liabilities, and profit and loss transactions

The central functions of the Risk Solutions group are:

Derivatives Trading and Risk Management

• Support FX, Interest Rate and other derivatives trade execution and transaction flow for Blackstone, its funds and portfolio companies.
• Partner with investment teams in analyzing hedging strategies to mitigate risk (FX, interest rates, etc.) at both the fund and portfolio company levels.
• Assist in the monitoring of FX, interest rate and other market exposures for the corporate balance sheet and funds.
• Engage with Insurance Solutions to advise on risk mitigation of insurance clients and their investments.
• Manage portfolio of interest rate hedges for structured debt and equity investments as well as on behalf of select insurance clients.
• Work with Real Estate teams to provide FX and Interest Rate risk mitigation across closed and open-ended funds and related properties.
• Assist with credit and KYC requests from banking partners to support trading accounts

• Advise in other risk management conversations across the Firm as required.
• Support liquidity, capital markets, and credit initiatives for Blackstone and its funds.
• Track and maintain Fee Wallet data as it relates to derivatives trading across the firm.
• Manage bank relationships and maintain good relationships with counterparties.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the Firm in Capital Markets, Finance, Operations, Treasury, deal teams etc.

Job Responsibilities :

• Investigate existing Linux distros, with focus on distros targeted at gaming to understand their strengths and weaknesses

• Analyse hardware requirements and constraints on a portable gaming platform, and how it relates to the customization of the distro

• Collaborate with R&D team to suggest packages and optimizations for a Linux distribution to suit the project's design goal and requirements

• Implement performance optimization and usability tweaks to increase compatibility with more games

• Document the design and development process, decisions, configurations

• Conduct lots of testing, having serious fun gaming, in the process iron out compatibility issues, and optimize game performance

Pre-Requisites :

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field

• Familiarity or interest in open-source development process

Job Description

• Assist with the preparation of weekly flash report.
• Prepare monthly P&L statements for the assigned services. Ensure team members complete the monthly closing for their services on time.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation and distribution of monthly reports to the management. These include regional P&L, commentaries, actual vs. flash variance analysis, actual vs. budget gap analysis, etc...
• Prepare schedules for balance sheet accounts related to cost provisions, unearned/ unbilled revenue, cost recoveries, stock and prepayments. Ensure appropriate actions are taken, and in a timely manner.
• Liaise with external auditors on audit matters and manage the audit process.
• Drive preparation of regional forecasts (quarterly) and budget (annually). This includes ensuring reasonable assumptions are used by Line Managers and the forecast/ budget is reflective of current conditions and business plan. Revenue and cost drivers are to be properly analyzed and presented to management. Ensure submission of reports within stipulated deadlines.
• Being an effective business partner to the regional director and managers. Take pro-active steps to engage regional director and managers in understanding the performance drivers in greater depth, going beyond a pure reporting function. Drive value added analysis to provide useful business insights to support/ improve decision making.
• Ensure efficient and effective operation of disbursements process – include ensuring disbursements are checked for accuracy, relevant supporting documents are submitted and verified, disputes are resolved promptly, monthly reconciliations are prepared and discrepancies are followed up, and any advances given are accounted for/ recovered timely.
• Identify areas of improvements to existing processes/ systems. Take on lead role in system implementation/ improvement projects.

• Degree in Accounting with a CA qualification or its equivalent.
