We are part of the Global Collection Team. We are a very dynamic and fun loving team and good at what we do – collecting money! We also provide support to our internal customers - Sales, Sales Finance, Account Management, Order Management and Customer Service besides our external customers.

About the Role, You Will:

· Ensure customers pay within agreed credit terms timeframe, including customer liaison, conduct detailed research, account reconciliation to resolve disputes.

· Weekly cash forecasting

· Liaise with Sales for sales forecast and to resolve issues, relating to invoices.

· Perform periodic financials analysis and credit reviews.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

· Work closely with all levels of customer and internal contacts within the Company.

· Meet performance metrics and participate in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing.

· Provide general administrative support as and when necessary.

· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.

We have set up a R&D Competence Center in Singapore to better cope with the arising global market demand. The new R&D Competence Center will start its operations in the already existing infrastructure in Singapore.

The focus of the new R&D Competence Center in Singapore will lay on the business areas of sensor technology and power electronics for serving the energy, building, industrial and future mobility sectors.

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Product Manager, someone with a proven track record and a genuine interest in sensors/power electronics devices/industrial power supplies. If you bring a wealth of experience in product management, coupled with a passion for advancing sensor technology and power electronics, we welcome you to apply for this role.

Your scope of tasks & responsibilities

• Market analysis and understanding: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and competitor analysis to define product strategy.
• Product specifications: Translate market requirements into clear product features and specifications covering software, hardware, and documentation while developing compelling business case for proposed product feature. Also ensure effective communication of requirements to the engineering team, including systems architects and product owners.
• Strategic planning: Contribute to the development of a 2-3 year strategic sensor/power electronics device/industrial power supply roadmap aligned with organizational goals and prioritize new products based on applications, features, and functions, considering necessary form factors.
• International Go-to-Market strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to define and execute a robust go-to-market strategy for new sensor products. Assist in developing marketing collateral and materials to communicate the product's value proposition effectively.
• Sales support: Assist the sales team in key customer meetings and technical workshops. Provide expertise in addressing functional, use case, and commercial (manufacturing cost and market price level) questions from internal and external stakeholders.

Your professional profile -qualifications & competences-

• Bachelor/Master of Science degree in a technical field, preferably in Electrical engineering or fields related to sensors, electronics, software and/or hardware.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a mid-sized or large industrial company.
• Proven track record in successfully managing and delivering projects.
• In-depth understanding of international B2B markets and dynamics.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external, on an international playing field.
• Language skills: English is mandatory, Chinese will be an advantage.

Job Responsibilites:

• Requisition fulfilment for raw materials, workshop tools and office supplies
• Generate purchase orders, oversea delivery schedules and maintain purchase records
• Manage suppliers, resolve discrepancies or quality issues on purchases
• Inventory management with workshop/storeman

Job Requirement:

• NTC/ Diploma preferably in Mechanical/Precision engineering
• Min. 2 years of experience preferably in Oil & Gas/engineering
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP knowledge will be an added advantage

3. Responsible for processing support (order processing, customer order verifications & follow up with customer orders)

4. Prepare orders for Planner and follow-up with customers when there are incomplete information or documents

5. Coordination with booking agents ot ship operators for status of supply schedule/vessel loading

6. Collate information for planner if there are any changes for the day itself for delivery

7. Tally overall order received at the end of day to ensure all order is not missed out

8. Ensure all delivery orders are received (arrange dispatch) once job completed and forward to customers as proof of delivery

9. Closing of job orders for billing once job is completed

10. Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solution and alternatives

11. Build sustainable relationship and trust with customer through open and interactive communications

12. Always look for opportunity to expand business share through building good rapport with customers

13. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Good communications skills (both verbal and written) and excellent organizational abilities

5. Able to work under pressure during peak periods & willing to take responsibility and accountability of their role.

6. GCE N Level, GCE O Level or Professional Certificate

7. 2-3 years of solid career experience in transportation business

8. Experience in HMS (Haulage Management System) and new technologies

9. Proficient in MS Office
