The Experts Community Specialist assumes a central role in overseeing our regulatory expert group and fostering the growth of our online community of Regulatory professionals. Introduction

ETH Zurich is one of the leading universities of the world with a strong focus on science and engineering. In 2010 it established the Singapore-ETH Centre (SEC) in collaboration with the National Research Foundation (NRF) to do interdisciplinary research on pressing problems.

In collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Duke - NUS, the National Health Group (NHG), National University Health System (NUHS), and SingHealth, SEC is undertaking a research programme on "Future Health Technologies (FHT)". It addresses pressing health challenges by developing a Connected Rehabilitation and Assistive Technologies Concept that tackles the increase in patients suffering from chronic diseases such as stroke, as a consequence of a rapidly ageing population, covering the value chain from acute care to patient's private homes. Within this framework we are announcing the following job opening.

Project background

The Connected Rehabilitation and Assistive Technologies Module (Module 3) will develop enabling technologies that provide minimally supervised high-quality interventions via a “rehab gym” equipped with clinical intelligence. Available technologies will include new robotic devices and brain-computer interfaces that are tailored to the individual patient’s needs, linking unobtrusive technical assessments via multiple sensors with interventions in real or virtual environments.

Module 3 will develop and validate new tools for quantifying short-term and long-term rehabilitation outcomes (i.e. via specifically designed wearables, instrumented objects and automated assessments, which potentially interact with an FHT App) (Project 1), delivering rehabilitation training at all stages of the rehabilitation process and in a minimally supervised manner (i.e. via new therapy modalities using brain-machine interfaces and virtual reality (Project 2) as well as mobile and wearable rehabilitation robotics (Project 3)) and providing assistance in permanently impaired patients (i.e. via new wearable assistive robotics) (Project 4). We will, for the first time, develop and evaluate a technology-supported therapy and assistance concept for the upper extremity which spans across the continuum of care, i.e. extending from application at the bedside, to rehabilitation services provided by community centres and finally to patients’ homes. The collected data from devices across all projects will enable the identification of biomarkers for predicting recovery and treatment response, development of a personalised long-term care concept for stroke patients and estimation of social and economic long-term outcomes (i.e. value estimation).

Task/Job description

We are looking for exceptional candidates with demonstrated technological and translational research experience in rehabilitation industry. While working and collaborating directly with our industrial partner, the main task is to support the development and translation of R&D knowledge into rehabilitation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Review R&D outcomes on future rehabilitation technology and work with our industrial partner on the planning as well as the execution of the transformation into products and solutions.
• Collaborate with our industrial partner’s technical team to realize R&D goals for future rehabilitation solutions.

Job Description

The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Science. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following -

• Work closely with Programme Director and Dean's Office to take charge of the end-to-end administration of the postgraduate research-based PhD and MSc programmes throughout the student lifecycle, including student admission, handling student enquiries, student module registration, managing programme website, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform end-to-end media preparation for post-production, such as encode, ingest, outgest and housekeeping of all video assets.
• Media traffic management in a centralized editing environment.
• Ensure that the metadata in Production Asset Management system are always optimized.
• Undertake basic editing and compilation of shots.

• Basic technical knowledge, preferably in non-linear editing or Video post-production.
• Preferably able to read Chinese scripts/cue sheets for shots assembly.
• Strong computing skills and the ability to plan and organize work efficiently.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to exercise independent judgment, particularly under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work in two shifts (0700 – 1530hr; 1530hr – 2400hr) and alternate between 5 / 6 days work weeks.

What You’ll Do

The objective of the Customer Success Executive (CSE) is to improve customer retention and expansion by facilitating activities and guiding them to the solutions value while also driving increased SaaS revenue. The CSE works at a strategic level across all product pillars in the cloud, leading teams in the delivery and continuous improvement of large scale ground-breaking cloud projects. In this role you will act as an enabler and trusted advisor to the customer to ensure they remain successful and engaged with their entire Cloud solution, so they understand the full value of their investment with Oracle. For this role you will need to be definitive in your goals but flexible in your approach. As part of the role you will continuously improve on your network and internal relationships, working closely with sales, implementation success managers and customer success managers to enable further adoption of Oracle products within your customers. You are one team, all responsible for delivering value to the customer with strong product knowledge and discovery expertise.

You will be responsible for delivering consistent, adherent and diligent collaboration with the internal collaborator teams and will work collaboratively with them to deliver activities that fit with the strategic direction of the customer over the entire cloud estate.

As a Customer Success Executive, you will:

• Collaborate with the Sales Manager and broader account team to develop and deliver an overall account strategy and plan for the customer, that directs company resources to encourage renewal and return of investment cross pillar.
• Develop and maintain a continuous close relationship with the relevant Account Team throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Facilitate relationships across various customer teams, brands, and/or departments to further strengthen Oracle’s partnership with customers.
• Regularly provide visibility of account at an executive level both internally and externally, defining progress against customers’ business objectives; any metrics that define success to the customer (return on investment); and identifying risks and appropriate mitigations.
• Deliver regular business reviews and success plans to senior executives and key business collaborators.
• Coordinate cross pillar activities across the account to ensure significant achievements for your customer such as upgrades, new releases and new features are managed effectively and with no adverse impact on co-existing pillars and identifying lessons learnt for future achievements within or across pillar.
• Engage and understand the customers cloud strategy within and cross pillar in order to guide the customer by providing resources that can assist their strategic business direction across pillar.
• Support other CSMs in their role acting as a ‘coach’ in working effectively with the customers support service to ensure it is being effective for enhancement requests and blocking issues.
• Develop a strong relationship with the senior leadership in your customer on a technical and business level.
• Support in collaborating with Oracle’s Reference team to ensure ‘reference fatigue’ is avoided and customers can take advantage of our reference program.
• Understand the value of the internal Oracle processes and tools available to assist your search for answers and for pro-active planning.

The Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB) is a premier research institute at A*STAR whose mission is to harness biology for transformational bio-therapeutics and diagnostics. In this role, you will be working with the IMCB researchers, grant agencies as well as A*STAR finance, councils, and the central research office to provide relevant grant-related support to the institute.

Job Description: the role includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Ensure that all grant proposal submissions meet the requirements as set by the respective granting agency.
• Review annual progress reports and final reports for various grants and ensure that these are submitted on time.
• Attend to requests from the granting agencies pertaining to budget scrubbing, letter of award and other steps required for timely activation of new grants.
• Assist investigators with changes related to their grants (deviation/variation requests).
• Work closely with A*STAR research office, councils, and finance regarding ad hoc requests for grant-related data and pending tasks.
• Serve as the institutional admin and help with creation and activation of accounts for grant-related portals such as IGMS and iGrants.
• Tabulate and track the grants of the institute to ensure easy extraction of grant data whenever required.
• Promptly attend to grant-related queries from investigators.
• Define timelines for internal review and approval SOP of grant calls and communicate to researchers for grant applications.
• Monitor, report and analyse grant application activities as well provide timely updates to management on grant status.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Life Science or equivalent.
• Preferably with at least 3 years of working experience.
• Experience and/or keen interest in work related to governance/ policy/ research administration, especially in the research & development sector, is an advantage.
• Good team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
