Your assignment

Provide Business IT support to the store

• Ensure that IT systems perform with high availability, performance, and security
• Takes an active role in Disaster Recovery Exercise
• Oversee Service Desk Operations and Compliance

Day-to-day IT Operations (Core Responsibilities)

• Assess assigned severity levels on Service Desk and comply with agreed-on service levels

• Develop quick Level 1 & 2 resolution processes for common issues

1) Invoicing:

a. Taking over from Customer Service (“CS”) department the invoicing function

b. Coordinate with CS department in getting relevant info and supporting for invoicing and ensure timely billing to customer

2) Transaction Processing:

a. Collect customer cheques from Admin and prepare bank in slips.

About the job

Reporting to the Regional Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering and securing profitable growth with the assigned customer accounts in the Marine Division in line with the South East Asia Sales Company targets and objectives.

In this role, you will be based in Singapore and will manage assigned customer relationship, including formulating and driving a specific customer account strategy to encompass the complete long-term relationship between Alfa Laval and the customer. 

This role is an individual contributor role and does not have team reporting to the role.

Key tasks:

• Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval solution in the Marine aftersales industry;
• Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behaviour and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets, by working closely with experienced sales or sales team leader
• Look for and manage leads from the market and customers and convert them in real business opportunities in other to ensure the pipeline.
• Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services
• Runs the operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools.
• Develop customized proposal to meet customers’ requirement and advocate value based selling and follow through to achieve performance.
• Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions.
   

What you know?

• Bachelor’s degree from recognized university, in Mechanical or Marine Engineering or related.
• Minimum 3 solid years of experiences in sales / services sales / after sales preferably in the Marine industry.

Responsibilities:

• Support in the buying of goods and services for Opex which entails: When required, requesting quotes from single or multiple suppliers. Requirements:

The project officer in RRIS will provide research and domain expertise in the field of the built environment and its impact on participation, psychosocial wellbeing, and public health indicators. He/she will also contribute expertise in the fields of musculoskeletal, aging and rehabilitation research. This contributes to RRIS’ diversity of work and facilitates interdisciplinary research to achieve excellence in rehabilitation research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide research and domain expertise in the field of the built environment and its impact on participation, psychosocial wellbeing, and public health indicators
• Contribute expertise in the fields of musculoskeletal, aging and rehabilitation research
• Conduct qualitative research interviews and assessments. This includes coordinating data collection, including and not limited to the recruitment of participants and liaising with external partners.
• Assist in project management – includes ethics application, monitoring project progress, managing audit trail
