The Accounts Executive will manage financial transactions, prepare management reports & GST reports for the clients and ensure compliace with accounting standards.

Reqirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant working Experience .

• Proficieny in Accounting Software :- MYOB, Autocount, Xero and Mircrosoft Excel is essential.

Resonsibilites :

• Prepare monthly,quarterly and annual management /financial statements and reports.
• Record and Reconcile financail transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in budet preparation and financial forcasting
• Assots in internal and external aduits by providing necessary documents and reports.
• Liase with clients on their accounts

This role is responsible for overseeing a team of accountants who provide outsourced accounting services to clients. The role involves managing and supporting the team in handling complex accounting tasks, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and fostering professional development. The Head of Accounting will collaborate with clients to understand their needs, troubleshoot accounting challenges, and maintain strong client relationships while driving operational excellence within the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, train, and manage a team of accounting managers overseeing a diverse portfolio of accounting clients.
• Develop and implement structured training programs to address knowledge gaps and keep team members informed about key regulatory updates.
• Recruit high-quality, skilled candidates who will enhance the team's success.
• Ensure the quality of service delivery from team members, including timely and accurate billing, effective client relationship management, and achieving high client satisfaction and retention rates.
• Plan and organize work efficiently, providing effective leadership and guidance to staff to meet service scope and timelines.
• Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting frameworks and financial reporting as regulated by ACRA, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements for various company structures in Singapore, particularly private limited companies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Recognized degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Professional certification (preferably ACCA, CPA, or CA) and a member of ISCA.
• More than 8 years of experience in client-facing roles, handling complex accounting matters, including commercial and/or audit experience.
• A proven track record of over 3 years in a leadership role within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of Singapore regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft applications.
• Resourceful, with experience using various productivity software to enhance daily operations.
• Self-motivated, positive, proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Description

As a Technical Accounting Manager, you will:

• Report to the Head of Finance, ensure compliance to IFRS, kept abreast of reporting requirements
• Set up accounting policies and governance, lead implementation across the Group
• Support pre-IPO discussions, review IFRS treatment relating to share based compensation, revenue recognition topics
• Key liaison between external stakeholders e.g. auditors to ensure statutory compliance and resolve accounting related matters, advice on complex accounting issues
• Prepare technical papers on complex accounting subjects
• Provide periodic training/seminars to finance teams locally and regionally on changes to accounting treatment and other emerging topics

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Finance and Accounting, CA qualified, at least 10 years working experience
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS application, working in either commercial set up and/or professional accounting firms
• Hands on experience with preparation of technical papers from scratch
• Combination of working experience with MNC and start ups will be highly advantageous
• Able to work independently, possess good stakeholder management and presentation skills to conduct trainings to both finance and non finance members

Responsibilities:

• To ensure financial reporting adheres to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, the bank's accounting policies and procedures, and compliance with local statutory & MAS regulatory requirements.
• To oversee the daily accounting operation, including daily GL management, review NOSTRO accounts reconciliation, OPEX processes etc.
• To review and enhance workflows and internal controls, and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
