The Marketing & Student Recruitment Assistant Manager will shadow the Head of Student Recruitment and work closely to increase and achieve course (enrolment) targets per intake. The candidate will provide support to execute all marketing and student recruitment-related activities to promote the course.

The candidate will be trained and supervised focusing mainly in the areas of conversion [leads to application], marketing and lead generation, events, and admissions.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience

• Experience in product design
• Proficient in 3D modelling
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, solid works, CAD
• Good knowledge & understanding of manufacturing process such as machinery, metal casting, plastic injection, extrusion
• Good knowledge in product design and metrology
• Good knowledge & understanding of GD&T for 2D drawings

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the Companys general ledger.
• Handle analytical review of financial statements and preparation of year end statutory accounts, preparing and maintaining audit schedules.
• Liaising with the Companys external auditors.
• Prepare and monitor funding position of assigned vessels and / or companies.
• Participate in the monthly review and financial closing process.
• Handle tax compliance submission, prepare journal entries and maintain accounting schedules as required.
• Maintain fixed assets information in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform revaluation and allocation function in financial system as appropriate.
• Perform intercompany, loan, derivative and bank-related ledger entries.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial information on request. (e.g. Singapore Department of Statistics surveys)
• Participate in enhancing departmental procedures through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assisting accounting manager in other ad hoc assignments.

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in general ledger accounting or managing full set of accounts.
• Prior experience in Big 4 accounting firm preferred.
• Strong computer skills and experience in computerized accounting/ERP systems. (e.g. Oracle EBS/Microsoft Navision) an advantage.
• Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized, meticulous with a keen eye for detail.

• Location: Mount Alvernia
• Working Hours: 5.5 Days | Mondays to Fridays 9am to 6pm AND Saturdays 9am to 12/1pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,500 + Performance Bonus + Annual Leave 14 Days + Medical/Dental Benefits $500/year

Requirements:

• Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese customers who can converse in Mandarin only

• Handling, checking, receiving, picking, packing and storing of all incoming stocks
• Checking and inspecting foods received and ensuring that they are of accurate quantity, acceptable quality and type
• Making sure that all inventory processes are completed on the same day
• Maintaining and servicing warehouse tool, machinery and vans
• Preparing delivery for drivers
• Signing off and replenishing stock
• Monitoring stock levels and performing cycle counting
• Moving items through warehouse from inbound to dispatch
