We are looking for accounts assistant and do not require any experience.

Basic accounting knowledge is require and training will be provided.

Our working hour will be 9am to 5pm , Monday to Friday and Satuarday 9am to 1pm. We are located at Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre and the nearest MRT is Haw Par Station.

This is a 1-year (Jul 2024 - Jun 2025) contract employment reporting to the Financial Controller.

Job Responsibilities:

• Updating authors’ contacts and payment details

• Screening incoming emails relating to royalty enquiries and provide timely response

• Organizing printed hardcopy royalty statements for authors without email addresses

• Assist in cheque / EFT payments

• Assist in stock count

• Assist costing on journal budget input to system

• Co-ordinate with freelancer and JPA on the copyediting billings

• AP – matching PO and trade invoices , then input to system

• Other accounting related assignments

Requirements

Minimum Qualification: Completed GCE A Level / Diploma or equivalent

Experience and Any Special Requirements:-

• Highly organized and meticulous

• Good written communication skills to handle authors’ queries

• Proficient in MS Excel

• Minimal supervision

• Work well in a team
