Responsibilities

Payroll Processing & Administration

• Liaise and work closely with payroll vendor to ensure the monthly payroll computations and ad-hoc payroll computations for new joiners and terminations are accurate and in compliance with Singapore labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy of payroll data by verifying data against supporting documents.
• Liaise and manage payroll vendors in overseas offices (e.g. China) to review and process payroll for overseas employees in compliance with local tax and labour laws. Check overseas payroll reports (e.gs. Dubai and India).
• Ensure employee expense claims are accurately recorded in the payroll system for payment.
• Handle monthly statutory submissions, including CPF, government paid leave, including national service leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, childcare leave, and other relevant obligations.
• Annual income tax preparation and declarations for employees in compliance with local tax regulations. This includes foreign employees’ tax clearance.
• Provide detailed monthly payroll reports and journals to finance.
• Manage and oversee employee loan repayment, which could involve authorized deductions from employee salaries.
• Administer contracts and fees related to the company directors.

HRIS Support

• Assist in global HRIS implementation, aligning it with organizational needs and best practices.
• Help migrate data from the legacy system to the new HRIS, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Continuously review processes and systems for operational excellence, including system user acceptance testing.
• Conduct training sessions to educate users on HRIS functionality and provide ongoing support to maximize system utilization.
• Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS platform in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system updates, enhancements, and integrations.

HR Operations

• Support the HR team in pre-hire, on-boarding, off-boarding, and training records administration.
• Support the HR team in preparing reports, analysis and surveys preparation, e.gs. MOM, MPA, salary and benefits surveys.
• Identify opportunities for HR operations transformation by leveraging technology for increased effectiveness and efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity, control and compliance in HR operations.
• Handle HR-related queries and perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or similar specialization.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, which includes managing payroll vendor.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance standards, ensuring accurate and lawful compensation to employees.
• Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially MsExcel) and various technology tools for efficient work.
• Prior experience working with a global HRIS systems, such as Workday, SuccessFactors, Ceridian or similar platforms, showcasing the ability to navigate and utilize these systems effectively.

• All basic duties of a Guest Services Agent; check in, check out, guests’ inquiries.
• Maintain appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform, appearance and posture throughout the department
• Effective supervision of all guest arrivals and departures, ensuring that room allocations and check in/check out processes follow set procedures and are customer focused.
• Supervise the Front Office operation and workflow to maximize guests’ satisfaction levels.
• Supervise and delegate duties to all Front Office team members.
• Responsible and accountable for maintaining the highest service standard of Front Office, and to generate team spirit and motivation in all ambassadors.
• Assist the Front Office Manager in monitoring the Front Office Associates and train them to ensure that guests receive prompt and courteous services.
• Check daily arrival list for VIPs, and regular guests. Introduce hotel facilities and special services to guests and follows up on requests by guest promptly and efficiently.
• Encourage and motivate Guest Service Agents to up-sell in order to achieve the daily / monthly target set by Front Office Manager.
• Oversee the daily movement of guest activities and be able to resolve any minor guest complaints to establish an amicable relationship with guests, clients and customers of the Hotel.
• Communicate with guests to get the feedback, pay great attention to the guest’s comments, to investigate and submit reports on guest comments.
• Provide quality service to the customer by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
• Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis.
• Maintain strict security procedures with credit and cash transactions, accounting procedures, issue of room keys and guest confidentiality.
