• To assist in the planning and execution of Messe Berlin Asia Pacific’s key events
• To work closely with mulitple external vendors in meeting key requirements, timelines, budgets and services required for all events
• To manage trade visitor registration process which includes setting up the registration page, acquisition of trade visitors and customer service support such as visa letters, enquiry assistance.
• Cross functional collaboration with various teams within the company to assist operational requirements for exhibitor, sponsor, conference, marketing and more. This includes customer service support in queries from external customers regarding operational aspects of all events.
• To manage multiple systems used for Messe Berlin Asia Pacific’s operations such as registration systems, CRM, business matching and more.
• To manage all events’ operational budgets which will entail requisition of various quotations and negotiation of pricing and services offered from vendors and partners.
• To assist in finding startegic partners to deliver excellent customer experience pre, post and during all of Messe Berlin Asia Pacific’s shows.

Key Responsibilities
Handle daily rate enquiries from local customers and overseas agents.
Timely response for all enquiries with multiple solutions and accuracy.

Accounts Payable Accountant – 6 Months Contract

Location: Singapore

Main responsibility is to contribute exceptional accounting and administrative services in a timely manner, and to exceed counterparty expectations. The role covers various responsibilities over various business operations / entities located in Asia.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable function which includes:

• Processing of staff expense claims across various Asia entities, whilst ensuring adherence to local statutory requirements and Company’s policies & guidelines;
• Processing supplier invoices for certain Asia entities and payments in Accounts Payable module;
• Resolution of invoice and expense claims discrepancies with various counterparties;
• Prepare and submit payments for Accounts Payable for review, approval and release;
• Prepare analysis of accounts, including aged report analysis;
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments and reconciliations are up to date;
• Perform monthend reconciliations and collation of AP documentation for monthend review and sign off.

Support General Ledger and Finance related administration functions which includes:

• Responsible for preparation and journal processing of AP and Expense Accruals for month end close
• Cashbook processing - including postings, applicable monthend revaluations and reconciliations;
• Assist in month end closing across various tasks when relevant;
