Job Description :

- Manage full set of accounting for 2 Singapore companies (AP/ AR/ GL/ Bank reconciliation/ GST / Financial report P & L , Balance sheet)

- Preparation of tax computation and submission to IRAS (GST, ECI, Form C)

- Responsible for month end & year end closing of account

- Perform reconciliation of bank, debtors & creditors in monthly basis

- Reports to finance manager in timely basis

- Liaise with auditor / tax agent during year-end financial audit

- Oversee and supervise accounts for Malaysia and Indonesia company (Liase with accountants in both countries)

- Able to fulfill group reporting requirements

- Maintain proper documentation and filing

- Perform accounts and finance analysis

- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior/management

- Able to work independently

Requirements :

- 2 years of accounting experience

- Familiar with Xero accounting software

Responsibilities:

1. Accommodation Management: Overseeing the allocation and management of accommodation for employees, including coordinating move-ins, move-outs, and maintenance.

2. Vendor Management: Liaising with accommodation vendors to ensure that facilities meet company standards, negotiating contracts, and resolving any issues that may arise.

5. Budget Management: Managing budgets related to employee accommodation, including tracking expenses, optimizing costs, and identifying opportunities for savings.

6. Reporting: Generating reports on accommodation-related metrics, such as occupancy rates, maintenance requests, and budget expenditures, to inform decision-making and strategy development.

7. Emergency Response: Acting as a point of contact and providing support during emergency situations affecting employee accommodation, such as natural disasters or security incidents.

8. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to employees by addressing their needs promptly, professionally, and courteously.

9. Perform any ad-hoc task as assigned by the management.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support to executives and managers in the company.

• Managing stationery and office equipment.

• Maintain and update company’s centralized document and record filing systems on incoming/outgoing documents.

• Managing and tracking company asset including company capex, Staff Asset record, asset labelling and annual asset stock taking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to Operation Manager with key responsibilities as listed below but not limited to:

• Handle end-to-end post fixture operation by liaising with charterers and owners.
• Evaluating information received from owners and send data required by the charterers in a manner which is concise and easily understood.
• Comprehend the legal and documentary requirements to ensure the safe and timely completion of the Charter Party and propose alternative work methods if necessary.
• Troubleshoot problems which might occur from the day-to-day shipping operations.
• Have a full understanding of the Charter Parties in use for fixtures with our clients and make the client aware of any clause which might impact their current operations.
• Verifying that freight invoices are raised as per charter party and issue commission invoices for our services.
• Should be able to communicate effectively with clients and maintain cordial relationship.

PREREQUISITES

• Diploma in Maritime or ICS qualification would be an added advantage.
• Proven experience of at least 3 years in Shipping industry including technical or marine or logistics.
• Must have previous experience in handling tankers for operations, marine or technical matters.
• Should have good shipping knowledge and commercial terms used.
• Able to work independently and be able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to use Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
