Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Provide support in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as necessary.
• Assist in tax planning and advisory services to clients.
• Maintain accurate and organised tax records and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior staff on various tax-related projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g.,ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent) are preferred.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or tax compliance, tax advisory, or a related role within an accounting firm or corporate tax department.
• Familiarity with Singapore tax laws and regulations is essential.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of corporate and personal tax regulations in Singapore.
• Ability to prepare and review tax returns and related documentation accurately.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day project processing matters, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently, ensuring the highest quality of work and attention to detail.
• Conduct thorough checks for document accuracy and respond promptly to client queries regarding their cases.
• Create estimated case timelines and customise document checklists tailored to individual client needs, closely monitoring application progress.
• Provide personalised advice to clients, submit relevant applications, and guide them in document preparation.
• Address queries raised by authorities, drafting proposed responses on behalf of clients.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and business associates.
• Provide weekly updates to the manager on project status and client progress.
• Research the latest policies from various authorities and share up-to-date information with internal staff and business partners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and adaptable with a strong drive to succeed.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to converse fluently in Mandarin to handle Mandarin-speaking clients and agents.
• Proven ability to build and maintain good working relationships with clients and business associates.
• Strong organisational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
• Holding a Certificate of Employment Intermediaries will be a plus point.
