Accounts Payable Executive

As an Accounts Payable Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the financial health of our organization. Reporting directly to the Assistant Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers.

Responsibilities:

· Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies.

· Code and enter invoices into the accounting system with attention to detail.

· Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

· Reconcile payments with purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documents.

· Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.

· Maintain positive relationships with suppliers while ensuring timely payments.

· Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.

· Generate reports for management on a regular basis.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.

· Assist in audits related to accounts payable activities.

Requirements:

- Min Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

- At least 2- 3 years of proven experience accounts payable or related roles.

- Preferably from FMCG industry.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Familiar with accounting software like QuickBooks will be advantageous.

• Preparing and recordkeeping of invoices
• Recording of accounts receivables and monitoring of outstanding payment from customers
• Preparing and recordkeeping of accounts payable
• Preparing and recordkeeping of service contracts, contracts renewals and request for service fees increment
• Updating of newly awarded contracts/terminated contracts and monthly sales figures
• Any administrative support

• Payment voucher and Receipt Voucher data entry
• GST Filing
• Oversees the accounts and reporting such as Balance Sheet, Bank reconciliation etc
• Handle Payroll
• Assist in preparation of documents for Year-End Financial Filing.
• Ad-hoc duties as required
• MYOB Softtware experience preferred*
